    Hikvision Hikvision iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY — 4MP DeepinView ANPR Bullet · 4.7–118 mm Long-Range Motorised Zoom (25×)

    SKU: iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY(4.7-118mm)

Hikvision DeepinView · 4MP ANPR Bullet · 25× Long-Range Zoom · AcuSeek Ready · 200 m IR Hikvision iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY — 4MP DeepinView ANPR Bullet · 4.7–118 mm Long-Range Motorised Zoom The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY is Hikvision's long-range ANPR specialist — a 4MP DeepinView bullet built for sites where the camera mounts well back from the plate. It pairs a 1/2.7" progressive-scan CMOS sensor with a 4.7–118 mm motorised varifocal lens (25× optical zoom), 200 m IR illumination, DarkFighter 2.0 ultra-low-light, 150 dB AWDR and a NEMA 4X anti-corrosion housing (the -Y suffix). Because it can read a number plate at telephoto from over 100 m away, it's the right camera for multi-lane boomgates, freeway off-ramps, council carparks, toll-points, freight yards, marina entries and large industrial gates — anywhere the install geometry makes Hikvision's shorter A46G2 lens options impractical. The G2-generation DeepinView platform runs licence plate recognition with ≥98% accuracy across 124+ countries and regions, captures full vehicle attributes (type / colour / brand / direction), supports a 50,000-record blocklist/allowlist, and includes parking-space management — up to 40 spaces in far-view mode or 4 spaces in close-view mode — and reverse-plate secondary capture for paid carparks. Native AcuSeek support means every captured plate, vehicle, person and non-motorised vehicle feeds the natural-language video-search engine on a compatible Hikvision NVR. HEOP 2.0 opens the camera to third-party deep-learning models (Caffe / PyTorch / TensorFlow). Cyber-secure with TPM 2.0 (FIPS 140-2 Level 2). Australian stock, 3-year Australian warranty. Resolution 4MP · 2688 × 1520 · up to 120 fps Long-Range Zoom 4.7–118 mm · 25× Motorised ANPR Engine On-camera LPR · 50,000 records Night Vision DarkFighter 2.0 · 200 m IR Protection IP67 · IK10 · NEMA 4X Power PoE+ 802.3at · 12 VDC · 24 VAC 3-Year Australian Warranty Fast Australia-Wide Shipping Australian Tech Support Why Choose the iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY for Long-Range Australian ANPR This camera exists for one job: read the plate from a long way off. Where the shorter A46G2 lens options top out at around 40 m identification distance, the A45G2's 4.7–118 mm 25× motorised zoom can identify a number plate at 110 m at full tele and detect a vehicle at 687 m. That changes what's possible at install: the camera can be mounted high on a pole well back from the gate, well outside the boomgate vandal zone, well clear of the truck-strike line at a freight yard, and still pull a clean plate every time. 25× Motorised Zoom — Plates at 110 m The 4.7–118 mm motorised varifocal pulls tight on a single plate from up to 110 m away at telephoto, while still backing out to 4.7 mm wide-angle for general overview. One lens, one cable run, two cameras' worth of jobs. 200 m IR Range — Sees in the Dark Smart IR illumination out to 200 m means the camera reads plates at midnight on un-lit access roads, freeway off-ramps, freight yards and rural gates — without needing supplementary white light that washes out drivers' eyes. 50,000-Record Blocklist / Allowlist Five times the on-camera plate database of the standard G2 ANPR bullet. Run an entire shopping-centre tenant register, council parking-permit register or council pound watchlist directly on the camera — no NVR dependency. AcuSeek-Ready — Natural-Language Search Pair the A45G2 with a Hikvision AcuSeek-capable NVR (V-Pro series or DeepinMind) and search every plate, vehicle, person and non-motorised vehicle using plain English — "red ute leaving at 6:14 pm Tuesday". Parking Management — Up to 40 Spaces Far-view mode monitors the occupancy of up to 40 parking bays; close-view mode reads plates and times occupancy of up to 4 bays. Vacancy / over-stay alerts come straight off the camera — no carpark-management server required. Reverse-Plate Secondary Capture Catch the rear plate as a vehicle reverses out — a critical capture for council carparks, ticketless ANPR billing and any site that needs to log both entry and exit plates from a single mount point. AcuSeek — Type-to-Search Across Every Captured Plate Hikvision AcuSeek NVR — AI Natural-Language Video Search Demonstration HEOP 2.0 Open Platform — 2.5 TOPS The HEOP 2.0 (Hikvision Embedded Open Platform) edge AI runtime lets you load custom deep-learning models built in Caffe / PyTorch / TensorFlow. 2.5 TOPS of on-camera compute, 2.2 GB smart RAM and 1.3 GB eMMC — enough headroom for a second analytic alongside the built-in ANPR. Vehicle Attribute Capture Beyond just the plate, the camera captures vehicle type, colour, brand and driving direction — feeding searchable metadata into HikCentral and AcuSeek for post-incident vehicle search across days or weeks of footage. Perimeter Protection — Human/Vehicle Filtering Line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting — each rule can be restricted to humans only, vehicles only or both. Combined-event triggering lets you chain rules ("vehicle crosses fence line and dwells > 30 s"). Audio Event Detection Smart audio events include crying detection, gunshot & explosion detection, scream detection and glass-breaking detection — useful for unmanned freight yards, late-night carparks and councils' safer-cities applications. NEMA 4X Anti-Corrosion + Built-in Heater The -Y suffix indicates Hikvision's moderate anti-corrosion housing — NEMA 4X-rated stainless body for coastal areas within ~2 km of the shoreline and sites exposed to acid rain. Onboard heater + demist keeps the glass clear in rain, snow and overnight condensation. TPM 2.0 + FIPS 140-2 L2 Cyber Security Hardware-rooted Trusted Platform Module 2.0 at FIPS 140-2 Level 2, plus TLS 1.3, 802.1X authentication, watermarking, video/firmware/config encryption and complete audit logging — meets enterprise, council and government cyber baselines. Both cameras share the same DeepinView G2 ANPR engine, the same ≥98% LPR accuracy, the same 150 dB AWDR, the same H.265+ five-stream pipeline, the same IP67 / IK10 / NEMA 4X housing and the same TPM 2.0 cyber-security baseline. The deciding question is install distance and lens range: the A45G2 is the long-range, single-lens 25× zoom camera built for plates at 30–110 m; the A46G2 is the wider-coverage, larger-sensor camera built for plates at 3–40 m with a choice of three motorised lens options. The A45G2 also adds parking-management features and a much larger 50,000-record plate database that the A46G2 doesn't include. iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY (this 25× long-range bullet) vs iDS-2CD7A46G2/P-IZHSY (multi-lens wider-coverage bullet) Feature iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY (this long-range bullet) iDS-2CD7A46G2/P-IZHSY (wider-coverage bullet) Series Position DeepinView G2 — Long-Range ANPR DeepinView G2 — Wide-Coverage ANPR Image Sensor 1/2.7" Progressive Scan CMOS 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS Max Resolution 4MP · 2688 × 1520 4MP · 2688 × 1520 Lens Range Single — 4.7–118 mm (25× motorised) Choice of 2.8–12 mm / 8–32 mm / 6–132 mm Aperture F1.6 → F3.8 2.8–12 mm: F1.38–F2.53 · 8–32 mm: F1.7–F1.73 IR Range 200 m 60 m (2.8–12) / 100 m (8–32) / 200 m (6–132) DORI · Identify (Tele) 110 m 15.2 m (2.8–12) / 40 m (8–32) DORI · Detect (Tele) 1,375 m 151.7 m (2.8–12) / 400 m (8–32) Min. WD Purple 256 GB Surveillance microSD WD Purple — built for 24/7 surveillance write cycles, far longer endurance than consumer microSD cards. The recommended edge-recording card for Hikvision G2 ANPR bullets. View WD Purple 256 GB → Frequently Asked Questions What's the maximum distance I can read a plate from with this camera? At full telephoto (118 mm) the camera achieves an EN 62676-4 "Identify" distance of 110 m — meaning the plate is legible enough to identify a specific vehicle. "Recognise" (plate confirms a known vehicle) extends to 220 m and "Detect" (vehicle present) extends to 1,375 m. Recommended ANPR mounting is 30–110 m from the plate line. How is this different from the iDS-2CD7A46G2/P-IZHSY? The A45G2 is the long-range, single-lens 25× zoom model with a 1/2.7" sensor; the A46G2 is the wider-coverage, larger-sensor 1/1.8" model with a choice of 2.8–12 / 8–32 / 6–132 mm lens options. The A45G2 also adds parking management, 50,000-record blocklist (vs 10,000), HEOP 2.0 open platform, reverse-plate capture, and a richer audio-event suite. Pick the A45G2 when the camera mounts well back from the plate; pick the A46G2 when you also need a wide overview of the scene. Does it recognise Australian plates? Yes. Hikvision's G2 LPR engine covers 124+ countries and regions across four areas, including all Australian state and territory plate formats — NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT, NT — plus custom plates, motorcycle plates and stacked-character plates. What's HEOP 2.0 and why does it matter? HEOP 2.0 is Hikvision's open edge-AI platform. It lets developers and integrators upload custom deep-learning models (Caffe / PyTorch / TensorFlow) onto the camera alongside the built-in ANPR — for example, a custom truck-type classifier, a fatigue-detection model, or a livestock-detection model at a rural gate. The camera ships with 2.5 TOPS of compute, 2.2 GB smart RAM and 1.3 GB eMMC. What does the parking-management feature do? In far-view mode, the camera monitors the occupancy of up to 40 parking spaces at once and pushes vacancy / over-stay / dwell-time alerts. In close-view mode, the camera reads plates and times occupancy on up to 4 spaces — useful for disabled bays, EV-charging bays, loading docks and short-stay tenant bays. Does it need an AcuSeek NVR to use AcuSeek? Yes — the camera is AcuSeek-ready, but the natural-language search engine itself runs on the NVR side. Pair it with a Hikvision VPro AcuSeek NVR (DS-7608/7616/7732-NXI-I*/VPro) or a DeepinMind X-series NVR (iDS-77*) to type plain-English queries like "white truck reversing at 9:14 pm Tuesday". Is this NDAA Section 889 compliant? No. Hikvision is subject to NDAA Section 889 restrictions in the United States. For NDAA-compliant ANPR projects (typically US federal-funded), we stock alternative brands — please contact our team for a recommendation. For Australian commercial, council, private and most state-government projects without an NDAA contractual requirement, this camera is freely usable. How many plates can I store in the blocklist / allowlist? Up to 50,000 combined records, stored on-camera — five times the A46G2's 10,000. Large enough for an entire shopping-centre tenant register, a council parking-permit list, a stolen-vehicle hot-list or a freight-yard authorised-fleet roster. Does it support Wiegand output to a boomgate / access-control panel? Yes — the camera includes a Wiegand interface (CardID 26-bit, SHA-1 26-bit, Hik 34-bit, NEWG 72-bit) plus an RS-485 port, letting you wire the camera directly into a boomgate controller, access-control panel or third-party gate-management system. Does it record locally if the NVR goes offline? Yes. The onboard microSD slot accepts up to 1 TB and supports ANR (Auto Network Replenishment) — when the camera reconnects to the NVR, any footage missed during the outage automatically backfills from the SD card to the NVR drive. Does it run on standard PoE? It needs PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at Type 2) — not standard 802.3af — because of the built-in heater, the long-range IR LEDs and the motorised zoom. Most modern Hikvision and Dahua PoE NVRs and switches support PoE+ on every port. It can also run on 12 VDC or 24 VAC if a separate supply is preferred. Max draw 24.2 W with -Y. What's the warranty and where is it serviced? This camera ships with a 3-year Australian Hikvision warranty, serviced back-to-base through Hikvision Australia. CCTV Guru manages the entire RA process from our Sydney office and provides Australian-based pre-sales and technical support for the life of the product. Do you ship Australia-wide and is stock genuine? Yes — Australian stock from authorised Hikvision Australia channels (not parallel imports). We ship Australia-wide every business day with same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2 pm AEST to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin and regional addresses. TP-Link TP-Link Tapo T300 Smart Water Leak Sensor

    SKU: Tapo T300

Detect Water Leaks Instantly with a 90dB Alarm and Instant App Alerts The TP-Link Tapo T300 is a smart water leak and flood sensor that detects moisture on both its top and bottom surfaces using six high-sensitivity probes — alerting you immediately with a built-in 90dB alarm and instant Tapo app push notification. With IP66 waterproofing, up to 3 years of battery life, and seamless integration with the Tapo H100 Smart Hub, it's a compact, reliable solution for protecting kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and any water-prone area in Australian homes and businesses. Key Features 90dB Built-In Alarm: Emits a loud 90dB siren directly from the sensor when water is detected — audible throughout most homes without requiring a hub or internet connection. Dual Induction Detection: Six high-sensitivity probes on both the top and bottom of the device detect water dripping from above and complete immersion from below — covering both leak and flood scenarios. Instant App Notifications: When paired with the Tapo H100 Smart Hub, receive instant push notifications to your smartphone via the Tapo app the moment a leak is detected — even when you're away from home. Tapo Hub Alarm Integration: Triggers the Tapo H100 hub's siren for additional audible coverage across your home, and can activate smart lighting via Tapo Smart Actions for a visual alert. IP66 Waterproof & Dustproof: Rated IP66 for protection against powerful water jets and dust ingress — suitable for humid environments including bathrooms, laundries, and under-sink cabinets. Up to 3-Year Battery Life: Powered by two replaceable AAA batteries with up to 3 years of standby life — no wiring or power outlet required. Low Battery Alerts: Sends a push notification when battery levels are low so you're never caught off guard. Compact & Flexible Placement: Small, elegant design fits discreetly in any location — under sinks, behind appliances, near hot water systems, and in roof spaces. Smart Actions: Create automations in the Tapo app to trigger smart lights, sirens, or other Tapo devices when a leak is detected for a comprehensive alert system. Common Use Cases Under-sink leak detection in kitchens and bathrooms Washing machine and dishwasher overflow detection in laundries Hot water system and storage tank leak monitoring Roof space and ceiling cavity flood detection Aquarium and fish tank overflow protection Commercial kitchen and hospitality venue water leak monitoring Rental property protection against undetected water damage Technical Specifications Model Tapo T300 Detection Method Dual induction — 6 probes (top & bottom) Alarm Volume 90dB (built-in) Waterproof Rating IP66 Power Source 2× AAA batteries (included) Battery Life Up to 3 years (standby) Hub Required Tapo H100 (for app alerts & hub alarm) Standalone Alarm Yes (90dB without hub) App Tapo (iOS & Android) Smart Actions Yes (via Tapo app) Compatible Hub Tapo H100 Low Battery Alert Yes (push notification) Downloads Tapo T300 Datasheet (PDF) Frequently Asked Questions Does the T300 work without the Tapo H100 hub? Yes. The T300 has a built-in 90dB alarm that sounds immediately when water is detected — no hub or internet connection required for the local alarm. However, to receive push notifications on your smartphone and trigger hub-based automations (such as activating smart lights or the hub siren), you need the Tapo H100 Smart Hub paired with the T300. How does dual induction detection work? The T300 has six high-sensitivity probes on both the top and bottom surfaces of the device. The bottom probes detect water pooling or flooding on the floor, while the top probes detect dripping water from above — such as a leaking pipe or appliance. This dual detection ensures the sensor catches both slow drips and rapid flooding scenarios. Where should I place the T300? Place the T300 flat on the floor or surface where leaks are most likely to occur — under sinks, behind washing machines, near hot water systems, or under dishwashers. Ensure the bottom probes are in contact with the surface. The sensor can also be placed in roof spaces or ceiling cavities to detect roof leaks. How long do the batteries last? TP-Link rates the T300 for up to 3 years of battery life on two AAA batteries under typical standby conditions. Actual battery life may vary depending on how frequently the alarm is triggered and environmental conditions. The sensor sends a low battery push notification when replacement is needed. Can I connect multiple T300 sensors to one hub? Yes. The Tapo H100 hub supports up to 64 Tapo sub-devices, so you can connect multiple T300 sensors throughout your home and manage them all from a single Tapo app account. Each sensor can be named and assigned to a specific room for easy identification. Is it compatible with other smart home platforms? The T300 works within the Tapo ecosystem via the Tapo app and Tapo H100 hub. Some Tapo devices support Amazon Alexa and Google Home integration — check the Tapo app for current compatibility. It is not natively compatible with Apple HomeKit or Matter at this time.

What smart devices does the S200D work with? The Tapo S200D is designed to work with Tapo smart lights and other compatible Tapo smart devices. It is not compatible with non-Tapo or third-party smart home ecosystems unless bridged via a supported hub. How long does the battery last? The included CR2032 coin cell battery typically lasts over 12 months under normal use. Replacement batteries are widely available at supermarkets and electronics stores across Australia. Is the Tapo S200D compatible with Google Home or Amazon Alexa? The S200D itself is a local controller. Voice assistant compatibility (Google Home, Amazon Alexa) is managed through the Tapo app and connected smart lights rather than the S200D directly. TP-Link TP-Link Tapo A200 Solar Panel for Battery Cameras

    SKU: Tapo A200

Keep Your Tapo Battery Cameras Charged Year-Round with Solar Power The TP-Link Tapo A200 is a 4.5W monocrystalline solar panel designed to provide continuous, free solar charging for compatible Tapo battery-powered cameras — eliminating the need to manually recharge or replace batteries. With IP65 weatherproofing, a 4-metre charging cable, and a 360° adjustable mounting bracket, it's a practical, set-and-forget power solution for outdoor Tapo cameras across Australia — from sunny Queensland to overcast southern states. Key Features 4.5W Monocrystalline Solar Charging: Premium monocrystalline silicon cells deliver up to 4.5W of charging power — as little as 30 minutes of standard sunlight per day can keep compatible Tapo battery cameras running continuously. Compatible with Tapo Battery Cameras: Designed for use with the Tapo C425, Tapo C420, and Tapo C400 — connects directly to the camera's charging port via the included cable. IP65 Weatherproof: Fully dust-tight and protected against water jets — suitable for permanent outdoor installation in Australian conditions including rain, coastal humidity, and dust. 4-Metre Charging Cable: The generous 4m cable provides flexibility in positioning the solar panel for optimal sun exposure without being constrained by the camera's location. 360° Adjustable Mounting Bracket: Fully adjustable bracket allows you to angle the panel precisely towards the sun regardless of wall or roof orientation — maximising solar capture throughout the year as the sun's angle changes. Wall or Roof Mountable: Installs on any exterior wall, eave, or roof surface using the included mounting hardware. Set and Forget: Once installed and connected, the solar panel charges the camera automatically — no manual battery removal, charging, or replacement required. Common Use Cases Keeping Tapo C425, C420, or C400 cameras continuously charged without manual battery maintenance Remote or hard-to-access camera locations where battery replacement is inconvenient Off-grid properties, farms, and rural locations without mains power at the camera location Outdoor cameras on fences, sheds, and outbuildings where running power cable is impractical Reducing battery replacement costs and environmental impact for long-term outdoor deployments Technical Specifications Model Tapo A200 Solar Cell Type Monocrystalline silicon Max Charging Power Up to 4.5W Compatible Cameras Tapo C425, Tapo C420, Tapo C400 Charging Cable Length 4 metres Weatherproof Rating IP65 Mounting Bracket 360° adjustable Mounting Surface Wall or roof (hardware included) Weight 840g Downloads Tapo A200 Datasheet (PDF) Frequently Asked Questions Which Tapo cameras is the A200 compatible with? The Tapo A200 is compatible with the Tapo C425, Tapo C420, and Tapo C400 battery-powered cameras. It connects directly to the camera's charging port via the included 4-metre cable. TP-Link has indicated that additional camera models may be supported in future firmware updates — check the Tapo app or TP-Link's website for the latest compatibility list. How much sunlight does it need to keep the camera charged? Under standard sunlight conditions, as little as 30 minutes of direct sunlight per day is sufficient to keep a compatible Tapo battery camera running continuously. In practice, most Australian locations receive significantly more than this, making the A200 well-suited to year-round outdoor use across all states and territories. Will it work on cloudy or overcast days? Monocrystalline solar panels continue to generate power in overcast conditions, though at reduced efficiency compared to direct sunlight. In consistently overcast climates or heavily shaded locations, the panel may not generate sufficient power to fully offset the camera's consumption. For best results, position the panel in a location with maximum daily sun exposure using the 360° adjustable bracket. Can I use it with Tapo cameras that are not battery-powered? No. The Tapo A200 is designed specifically for Tapo battery-powered cameras (C425, C420, C400) and connects to their charging port. It is not compatible with mains-powered or PoE-powered Tapo cameras. Is the 4-metre cable long enough for most installations? For most residential installations, 4 metres provides sufficient reach to position the solar panel in an optimal sun-facing location while the camera monitors the desired area. If a longer run is required, the solar panel should be positioned as close as practical to the camera to avoid cable extension, which is not supported.

No. The TC40 connects directly to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) and is managed entirely through the Tapo app. No hub, NVR, or additional hardware is required for basic operation, live view, and local storage. What is the difference between IP65 and IP66? IP65 means the camera is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It is suitable for most Australian outdoor environments including rain and humidity. IP66 offers slightly higher water resistance (against powerful jets). The TC40’s IP65 rating is appropriate for standard outdoor residential and light commercial use. Can I use the TC40 without a microSD card? Yes. Without a microSD card, the TC40 can still provide live view, motion alerts, and two-way audio via the Tapo app. For video recording and playback, you will need either a microSD card (up to 512 GB) or an active Tapo Care cloud storage subscription. How does person detection differ from standard motion detection? Standard motion detection triggers on any movement — including animals, blowing leaves, or passing car headlights — which can result in frequent false alerts. Person detection uses AI to specifically identify human figures, so you only receive notifications when a person is actually detected, significantly reducing alert fatigue. Is the TC40 compatible with my existing Tapo devices? Yes. The TC40 integrates with the broader Tapo ecosystem via the Tapo app. You can create automations linking the camera to other Tapo devices — for example, triggering a Tapo smart plug or light when motion is detected. What Wi-Fi band does the TC40 use? The TC40 connects on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band only. While 2.4 GHz offers better range and wall penetration than 5 GHz, ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network and that the camera is within reliable Wi-Fi range of your access point for stable performance.

Downloads VIGI C240I Datasheet (PDF) Frequently Asked Questions What is the difference between the VIGI C240I and the VIGI C240? The VIGI C240I uses infrared (IR) night vision, producing black-and-white footage in low-light and dark conditions. The VIGI C240 uses full-colour night vision with spotlight LEDs, producing colour footage in complete darkness. The C240I is typically preferred for installations where the spotlight LEDs of a full-colour camera would be intrusive or unwanted, such as in residential areas or discreet commercial monitoring. Does the VIGI C240I work without an NVR? Yes. The C240I supports standalone operation with local recording to a microSD card and remote management via the VIGI app or web browser. A VIGI NVR is optional but recommended for multi-camera deployments requiring centralised recording, playback, and AI event management. What PoE standard does this camera require? The VIGI C240I is powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE, which is the standard supported by most PoE switches and NVRs. It also accepts 12V DC power if PoE is not available at the installation point. How does AI human and vehicle detection reduce false alarms? The on-board AI chip analyses motion events in real time and classifies them as human, vehicle, or other. Only human and vehicle events trigger push notifications, so you won’t receive alerts for a cat walking past, a tree branch moving, or a change in lighting — significantly reducing alarm fatigue on busy commercial sites. Is the IK10 rating important for my installation? IK10 is the highest impact protection rating, meaning the camera housing can withstand a 20-joule impact — equivalent to a 5kg weight dropped from 40cm. This is important for installations in car parks, stairwells, public toilets, and any location where the camera may be subject to deliberate tampering or accidental impact. Can I integrate the VIGI C240I with third-party NVRs? The VIGI C240I supports ONVIF, allowing basic integration with compatible third-party NVRs and VMS platforms. Full AI features including human/vehicle classification and smart detection events are only available within the TP-Link VIGI ecosystem.

Downloads TL-POE260S Datasheet (PDF) Frequently Asked Questions What is a PoE injector and how does it work? A PoE injector sits between your existing switch and a PoE-powered device. It takes a standard Ethernet data connection from your switch and adds electrical power to the cable, so the connected device receives both data and power through a single RJ45 cable — no separate power outlet needed at the device end. Do I need to replace my existing switch to use this injector? No. The TL-POE260S works with any existing non-PoE switch or router. Simply connect your switch to the Data In port and your PoE device to the PoE Out port. Why does the 2.5Gbps speed matter for a PoE injector? Most PoE injectors are limited to 1Gbps, which can bottleneck high-bandwidth devices like Wi-Fi 6/6E access points that are capable of multi-gigabit throughput. The TL-POE260S’s 2.5Gbps ports ensure the injector doesn’t become the weakest link in a high-speed network. Is it compatible with standard PoE (802.3af) devices as well as PoE+ (802.3at)? Yes. The TL-POE260S is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3af (PoE) devices, automatically supplying the correct power level. It supports up to 30W for PoE+ devices. Can I use this to power a VIGI IP camera? Yes. All TP-Link VIGI cameras that support PoE (802.3af/at) are compatible with the TL-POE260S. For single-camera installations without a PoE switch or NVR, this injector is the most cost-effective solution. Does it require any software or configuration? No. The TL-POE260S is fully plug and play — connect the cables and it works immediately with no drivers, software, or configuration required.

Downloads TL-SG3452XP Datasheet (PDF) Frequently Asked Questions How many PoE devices can the TL-SG3452XP power simultaneously? All 48 RJ45 ports support PoE+, but the combined power draw of all connected PoE devices must not exceed the 500W total budget. For example, 48 × 10W PoE cameras would draw 480W — within budget. 48 × 15W Wi-Fi 6 APs would draw 720W — exceeding the budget. Plan your PoE device power requirements carefully and prioritise higher-wattage devices across ports if needed. What is the maximum PoE wattage per port? Each port supports up to 30W (IEEE 802.3at PoE+). The total across all 48 ports is capped at 500W. If you need more than 30W per port for high-power devices such as Wi-Fi 6E APs or PTZ cameras, consider the TL-SX3206HPP which supports up to 60W per port (IEEE 802.3bt PoE++). Does the TL-SG3452XP require an Omada Controller? No. The TL-SG3452XP supports full standalone management via web UI, CLI (Console, Telnet, SSH), SNMP, and RMON without any controller. Omada SDN integration is optional and adds centralised multi-device management, cloud access, and the Omada app interface — recommended for large deployments with multiple switches and APs. What SFP+ modules or cables are compatible with the uplink slots? The four SFP+ slots support standard 10GE SFP+ modules including TP-Link’s own SFP+ transceivers (single-mode and multi-mode fibre) and DAC (Direct Attach Copper) cables. Check TP-Link’s compatibility list for third-party SFP+ module support. Can this switch be used as a standalone access layer switch without a core switch? Yes. The TL-SG3452XP can operate as a standalone access layer switch connected directly to a router or modem via one of its SFP+ uplink ports. The Static Routing feature allows basic inter-VLAN routing without a dedicated Layer 3 core switch, making it suitable for medium-sized deployments that don’t require a full three-tier network architecture. Is the TL-SG3452XP suitable for outdoor IP camera deployments? The switch itself is designed for indoor rack installation. It can power outdoor-rated PoE IP cameras via indoor-to-outdoor cabling runs of up to 100 metres. Ensure the cable is rated for outdoor use and the camera carries an appropriate IP weather rating for its installation location.

Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E access points can aggregate more than 1Gbps of wireless throughput from connected clients. A standard Gigabit uplink port creates a bottleneck that limits the AP's performance. The TL-SG3428XPP-M2's 2.5GBASE-T ports provide up to 2.5Gbps per port — eliminating this bottleneck and allowing Wi-Fi 6 APs to operate at full capacity. This is the primary reason to choose this switch over a standard Gigabit PoE switch for Wi-Fi 6 deployments. What is the difference between PoE+ (802.3at) and PoE++ (802.3bt)? PoE+ (802.3at) delivers up to 30W per port — sufficient for most IP cameras, standard Wi-Fi 6 APs, and VoIP phones. PoE++ (802.3bt) delivers up to 90W per port — required for high-power devices such as Wi-Fi 6E tri-band APs, PTZ cameras, digital signage displays, and thin clients. The TL-SG3428XPP-M2 provides 16 PoE+ ports and 8 PoE++ ports to support mixed deployments. What is the difference between the TL-SG3428XPP-M2 and the TL-SG3428XMP? The TL-SG3428XPP-M2 has 24× 2.5G ports (vs 24× 1G on the TL-SG3428XMP), includes 8× PoE++ ports at up to 90W (vs PoE+ only at 30W max), and supports ISP-grade features (OAM, sFlow, QinQ). The TL-SG3428XMP has a 384W PoE budget and is the better choice for standard Gigabit PoE+ deployments at a lower price point. Choose the TL-SG3428XPP-M2 for Wi-Fi 6/6E deployments requiring 2.5G uplinks and high-power PoE++ devices. What is Omada SDN and do I need a controller? Omada SDN is TP-Link's centralised network management platform. The TL-SG3428XPP-M2 can be managed via the Omada cloud (no hardware controller required), a hardware Omada controller (OC300/OC200), or a software controller on a local server. Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) allows the switch to be pre-configured in the cloud and automatically download its configuration when connected on site. What TP-Link access points are recommended to pair with this switch? The TL-SG3428XPP-M2 is ideal for pairing with TP-Link Omada Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E access points that support 2.5G uplinks, such as the EAP670, EAP680, and EAP683. These APs can take full advantage of the 2.5G port speed and PoE++ power delivery. All are managed centrally via the same Omada SDN platform.

Australian standard wall boxes vary — confirm your existing back box dimensions before purchasing. An 86mm square back box is the most common compatible size. A licensed electrician should perform the installation if in-wall cabling is involved. Does it require an Omada Controller to operate? No. The EAP655-Wall can operate in standalone mode without an Omada Controller for basic Wi-Fi access point functionality. An Omada Controller (hardware OC200 or software-based) is required for centralised multi-AP management, seamless roaming, guest portal authentication, and advanced network features. What is PoE pass-through and how does it work? PoE pass-through allows one of the EAP655-Wall’s downlink Gigabit ports to supply PoE power to a connected device — such as a VoIP phone or IP camera — without a separate power adapter. The EAP655-Wall receives PoE power from the uplink switch and passes a portion of that power through to the connected device. How many EAP655-Wall units can I manage from one controller? The Omada SDN platform supports large-scale deployments with hundreds of access points managed from a single controller interface. The OC200 hardware controller supports up to 100 devices; the OC300 supports up to 500. Software-based controllers have higher limits depending on the host hardware. Can I use the guest portal for a hotel or café? Yes. The EAP655-Wall supports multiple guest portal authentication methods including SMS verification, Facebook Wi-Fi login, and voucher-based access — all configurable through the Omada Controller. This makes it well-suited for hospitality, retail, and accommodation venues requiring branded or controlled guest Wi-Fi access. Is the EAP655-Wall backward compatible with Wi-Fi 5 devices? Yes. Wi-Fi 6 is backward compatible with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), and older standards. All existing devices will connect and benefit from the improved network efficiency of Wi-Fi 6, even if they don’t support the full AX3000 speeds.

Downloads TL-WA3001 Datasheet (PDF) Frequently Asked Questions Does the TL-WA3001 require a PoE switch to install? No. The TL-WA3001 supports Passive PoE and also includes a DC power adapter, so it can be powered from a standard power outlet if a PoE switch or injector is not available. For the cleanest single-cable installation, a Passive PoE injector such as the TL-POE260S is recommended. What is the difference between Access Point mode and Range Extender mode? In Access Point mode, the TL-WA3001 connects to your router via Ethernet and broadcasts a new Wi-Fi network — this is the recommended mode for most installations. In Range Extender mode, it connects wirelessly to an existing Wi-Fi network and rebroadcasts it to extend coverage, though this typically reduces throughput by approximately half. Can I manage multiple TL-WA3001 units centrally? Yes. The TL-WA3001 is compatible with TP-Link’s Omada SDN platform. Using the Omada Controller (hardware or software), you can manage multiple APs centrally, configure seamless roaming, set up VLANs, and customise captive portal pages across an entire site. What is the captive portal used for? The captive portal displays a custom login or landing page when a guest connects to your Wi-Fi network. It’s commonly used by cafés, hotels, and retail stores to require customers to accept terms of use, view an advertisement, or enter a voucher code before gaining internet access. Is the TL-WA3001 compatible with Wi-Fi 5 and older devices? Can I use this access point outdoors? The TL-WA3001 is designed for indoor use. For outdoor Wi-Fi coverage, TP-Link’s Omada outdoor access point range (e.g. EAP225-Outdoor or EAP610-Outdoor) is recommended.
