Stainless Steel | IP65 | Green LED | 1-Year Warranty
WEL1911 SECOR Press-to-Exit Button — Stainless Steel, IP65, Green LED, Flying Leads
The SECOR WEL1911 is a flush-mount stainless steel press-to-exit button engineered for Australian commercial, industrial and residential access control installations. With an IP65-rated housing, isolated NO and NC contacts, a high-visibility green illuminated LED ring, and a tested mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, the WEL1911 is the dependable request-to-exit (REX) device that finishes off a clean, professional door — from glass-front offices in Sydney CBD to back-of-house plant rooms in Perth and Brisbane warehouses.
Supplied with flying leads for fast termination and rated to switch up to 2 A at 12 or 24 V DC, the WEL1911 is fully compatible with any standard maglock, electric strike or access controller — including Tecom Challenger, Inner Range Integriti/Inception, Gallagher, Paxton, ICT Protege and standalone keypads such as the SECOR WKP-series.
Ingress Protection
IP65 Rated
Switching Capacity
2 A @ 12/24 V DC
Mechanical Life
1,000,000 Cycles
Plate Material
304 Stainless Steel
Built for Australian Access Control Installations
The WEL1911 is a fully isolated dry-contact exit button — meaning both the NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) contacts are independent of the LED supply. That isolation lets installers wire the button directly into a fail-safe maglock loop, a fail-secure strike circuit, or as a request-to-exit input on any Australian access control panel without needing relays, diodes or protective interfaces.
The illuminated green LED halo stays visible day or night and gives users an obvious visual cue at the door — reducing tailgating attempts and unnecessary calls to facilities teams. Combined with a contact resistance of ≤50 mΩ and an insulation resistance over 100 MΩ, the WEL1911 delivers the kind of long-term electrical reliability you expect from a piece of door hardware that may be pressed dozens of times a day for the next decade.
Stainless Steel Flush Mount
Vandal-resistant 304-grade stainless plate. Flush mounts cleanly into wall boxes or door frames for a discreet, modern look that suits any commercial fit-out.
IP65 Weather Sealed
Dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets. Suitable for sheltered outdoor exits, loading docks, car-park entries and food-handling areas.
Isolated NO & NC Contacts
Both contacts are electrically isolated from the LED, allowing safe integration with fail-safe maglocks, fail-secure strikes and access controller REX inputs.
Green LED Halo
High-brightness 12–24 V LED illumination clearly marks the exit point at all times. Red and blue LED variants are available on request.
1,000,000 Cycle Mechanical Life
Heavy-duty switch mechanism rated for 50,000 electrical cycles at full load and 1 million mechanical actuations — proven longevity for high-traffic doors.
Flying Lead Termination
Pre-terminated flying leads simplify wiring and reduce installation time. No fiddly screw terminals on the back of the plate, no specialty tools required.
Compatible with Every Australian Access Control Brand
Because the WEL1911 outputs dry contact closures only, it is panel-agnostic. Wire the NO contact across the REX input of any Australian access controller, or break the NC contact in series with a maglock loop for instant manual override. Common deployments include:
Tecom Challenger / Inner Range
Wire NO across the “Request to Exit” input on the TS1061, ELM or Inception module. Door event log entries identify the exit press automatically.
Gallagher Command Centre
Connect to the REX input on any Gallagher controller (Controller 6000/7000, T-series). Configure as Monitor Exit or Free Exit per door policy.
Paxton Net2 & ICT Protege
Standard NO closure to the Exit input on Net2 plus / Protege GX/WX. Supports timed and momentary exit modes.
Standalone Maglock + Keypad
Break the NC contact in line with the maglock 12/24 V DC supply for a wire-only manual override — no controller required.

Flush-mounted next to glass entry doors, server rooms and reception areas. Stainless steel finish blends with modern fit-outs and brushed metal door hardware.
Industrial & Warehouse
IP65 rating handles dust, splash and wash-down zones. Heavy-duty switch withstands gloved-hand operation and high-frequency traffic.
Retail & Hospitality
Discreet green LED marks staff-only exits in stockrooms, kitchens and back-of-house corridors. Tamper-resistant when correctly recessed.
Healthcare & Aged Care
Smooth stainless plate is easy to clean and disinfect. Suitable for medical-grade clean zones and infection-control corridors.
Wiring Quick Reference
Standard REX Wiring (Access Controller)
Connect the two NO flying leads across the controller’s REX / Exit input. Connect the LED+ and LED− leads to a 12 or 24 V DC source matching your installation voltage. Pressing the button momentarily closes the NO contact and grants exit on most Australian access control platforms.
Direct Maglock Override (No Controller)
Wire the NC contact in series with the 12/24 V DC supply to the maglock. Pressing the button opens the contact and de-energises the lock for the duration of the press — ideal for small-budget standalone maglock installations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the WEL1911 weatherproof for outdoor use?
The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor exits, covered loading docks and entry porticos. For full open-weather exposure, install under an eave or canopy for maximum service life.
What voltage does the LED need?
The integrated LED runs on either 12 V or 24 V DC — just match it to your access control or lock power supply. No external resistor required.
Will the WEL1911 work with my maglock?
Yes. The fully isolated NO/NC contacts handle up to 2 A at 12/24 V DC, which covers nearly every Australian maglock and electric strike on the market. For fail-safe maglocks, wire the NC contact in series with the lock supply; for access controllers, use the NO contact across the REX input.
Can I get this button with a red or blue LED?
Yes. The WEL1911 is also available with red or blue LED variants on request. Contact CCTV Guru if you need a colour other than the standard green.
What size wall box do I need?
The large 70 mm × 115 mm plate fits a standard single-gang Australian wall box. The compact 30 mm × 75 mm plate suits door frames, mullions and narrow architrave applications.
How long does the button last?
Tested to 50,000 electrical cycles at full rated load and 1,000,000 mechanical cycles. Even at 200 presses a day, that’s well over a decade of dependable service.

Standalone Access Control | HID Prox + EM | Multi-Mode
WKP20 Standalone Door Controller with HID Prox and EM Card Reader Keypad
The WKP20 is a metal-housed standalone access controller built on a 32-bit ARM processor, combining a backlit keypad with an integrated 125 kHz HID Prox and EM proximity card reader in a single weather-resistant housing. Designed for Australian commercial, industrial and residential entry doors, it supports up to 20,000 user credentials, multi-mode operation (Single-door, Double-door, Interlock, Reader / Wiegand pass-through and Demo), and full Wiegand 26–66 bit output for integration with Tecom Challenger, Inner Range, Gallagher, Paxton, ICT Protege and other Australian access control platforms.
Deploy the WKP20 as a complete standalone door controller with onboard 1A relay, or convert it instantly to a Wiegand keypad/reader for third-party head-end systems via the TS1061-Dual Wiegand Interface. Self-adaption infrared anti-tamper, anti-duress credential support, multi-card unlock, super-open password, anti-crack lockout and configurable facility/site code make it suitable for everything from a back-of-house storeroom to a high-security access point.
User Capacity

Operating Modes
5 Modes Built-in
Wiegand Output
26 – 66 Bit Configurable
Why Australian Installers Choose the WKP20
The WKP20 solves a problem most low-cost keypads cannot: it is genuinely multi-mode. The same hardware can run a fully standalone single door this morning, become the second leaf of a Double-door deployment this afternoon, and be reconfigured as a pure Wiegand pass-through reader for a Tecom Challenger panel by the end of the day — without changing a single wire. For Australian integrators stocking access control gear, that means fewer SKUs, faster jobs and a serious safety net when site requirements shift mid-install.
It is built around a 32-bit ARM microcontroller with self-adaption infrared anti-demolition detection, an alarm/doorbell MOS output, NO/NC/COM relay rated to 1 A, and an operating envelope of −40 °C to +60 °C — comfortable for outdoor entries through Australia’s harshest climates, from Darwin loading docks to Hobart rear gates.
Five Built-in Operating Modes
Switch between Single-door, Double-door, Interlock, Reader (Wiegand pass-through) and Demo mode from the keypad — no software, no programmer.
HID + EM Dual Format
Reads 125 kHz HID Prox and EM credentials simultaneously, or restrict to a single format. Reader range up to 5 cm.
20,000 Users & 21 Admin Cards
Programme by card, PIN, Card + PIN, or Multi-card unlock (2–10 cards in sequence). Admin cards include Set, Add, Delete, Super-open, Anti-duress, Authorisation and Normal-open.
Infrared Anti-Tamper 24/7
Self-adaption infrared sensing detects illegal dismantle attempts day or night and triggers the onboard MOS alarm output (up to 1 A) — immune to visible-light interference.
Anti-Crack Lockout
Configurable wrong-attempt threshold (1–10) with alarm-only or full keypad/reader lockout for 1–99 minutes. Stops brute-force PIN and card scanning attacks dead.
Wiegand 26 – 66 Bit Output
Configurable site/facility code (0–255), parity (EO or none), plus RS232-TTL HEX / ASCII-8 / ASCII-10 output for integration with virtually any Australian access head-end.
Integration with Tecom Challenger & Third-Party Panels
Set the WKP20 to Reader mode and it becomes a pure Wiegand 26-bit pass-through reader for Tecom Challenger via the TS1061-Dual Wiegand Interface, Inner Range Integriti / Inception, Gallagher Command Centre, Paxton Net2, ICT Protege GX/WX and any other Wiegand-input controller. PIN entries are converted to Wiegand card data using the configurable facility/site code (1–255), so users can be enrolled as card holders even when no physical card is presented.
Three external control wires (LED_R, LED_G, BEEP) accept low-level inputs from the host controller, so the WKP20’s red/green LED status and buzzer can be driven directly by the Tecom or Inner Range panel for full event feedback at the door.
Australian Integrator Note
When connecting the WKP20 to a TS1061-Dual Wiegand Interface on the main Challenger LAN as a “Standard Door”, PIN data is converted to Card Data using the programmed facility code. Factory-default the unit, set machine mode 03→0 (Reader), Wiegand output 64→4, and program facility code 60→(1–255) before connecting to the head-end. Full programming flow is in the Quick Setup Cheatsheet (download below).
Security Features Built for Australian Compliance
Anti-Duress Card
A designated duress credential opens the door while silently activating the MOS alarm output — for retail, banking and aged-care applications where forced entry is a real threat.
Super-Open Password
8-digit highest-priority unlock that overrides any user restriction, multi-card requirement or disabled-user state. Critical for emergency services and after-hours response.
Normal-Open Card
Toggle the door into Normal-Open mode with a tap — ideal for store opening hours, delivery windows or fire-drill events.
Authorisation (Header) Card
Globally enable or disable all users at the tap of one card. Lock the door down for cleaning, public-holiday closures or security incidents in seconds.
Installation, Wiring & Power
The WKP20 ships with a 12-core flying lead and accepts either 10–28 V DC (Red/Black) or 10–28 V AC (Red/Light-green, non-polarised). Standby current is ≤35 mA at 12 V DC and operating current is ≤100 mA, which means a single 2 A access-control PSU can power the controller, an electric strike or maglock, plus an exit button and door contact without breaking a sweat.
NO/NC/COM dry-contact relay output (1 A) drives the lock directly for low-current strikes, or a dedicated lock power supply for fail-safe maglocks. The grey ALARM(BELL) lead is a MOS drain output sinking up to 1 A — wire it straight to an external siren, a strobe, or a doorbell decoder for two-in-one keypad & doorbell duty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the WKP20 work with Tecom Challenger?
Yes. Set the WKP20 to Reader mode (03→0), Wiegand output 64→4 (1–5 digit key + # buffered, 26-bit) and configure a facility code (60→1–255). Connect to a TS1061-Dual Wiegand Interface on the Challenger LAN.
What credential formats are supported?
125 kHz HID Prox and 125 kHz EM cards/fobs. You can also restrict the reader to read only HID, only EM, or both via menu 04. PIN-only operation is also supported.
Can it run two doors from one unit?
Yes. Set Double-door mode (03→2) and the WKP20 manages two independent zones with separate user lists, super-open passwords and admin cards using a single physical keypad.
What happens if I forget the admin password?
Two recovery methods: (1) Power-cycle while holding the # key to reset Admin PIN to 888888 without wiping users; or (2) hold the * key while powering on to perform a full factory reset (admin cards and user data are retained).
Is it weatherproof for outdoor Australian conditions?
The metal-housed WKP20 is rated for −40 °C to +60 °C operation. For full outdoor exposure in heavy rain or coastal salt-spray locations, install under a small eave or use a rain hood for maximum service life.
Does the keypad have anti-tamper protection?
Yes — self-adaption infrared anti-demolition detection runs 24/7. When the unit is removed from the wall plate it triggers an audible alarm and the MOS alarm output, regardless of ambient light conditions.
Is there an anti-passback or brute-force protection?
Anti-crack lockout is built in. Configure 1–10 wrong attempts and the keypad either alarms (43→1) or locks completely (43→2) for 1–99 minutes — stopping random PIN guessing and card scanning attacks.
Do you offer warranty and support in Australia?
Yes. CCTV Guru supplies the WKP20 with full local warranty, Australian-based technical support and access control commissioning advice for installers and end users across all states and territories.
