How the Bosch alarm builder works
- Control panel — choose Solution 2000, 3000 or 6000. Pick a ready-to-go alarm kit, or a bare panel to design from scratch. This decides which devices are compatible.
- Detectors & sensors — add Blue Line Gen2 PIR motion detectors, TriTech and pet-friendly detectors, glass-break and reed door/window contacts, with quantities for each room and entry point.
- Keypads, sirens & extras — Icon / Text / touchscreen codepads & prox keypads, external sirens, RADION keyfobs & panic buttons, smoke detectors, and IP / 3G-4G app-control modules.

Which Bosch panel should I choose — Solution 2000, 3000 or 6000?
Choose Solution 2000 for a straightforward hard-wired home alarm (8 zones). Choose Solution 3000 when you want hard-wired zones and RADION wireless detectors (8/16 split zones + 16 wireless) — the most popular choice for homes. Choose Solution 6000 for larger homes and commercial sites that need many more zones (up to 144), multiple areas, prox-card keypads and full app control.
How many detectors can I add to a Bosch alarm?
Solution 2000 supports 8 zones, Solution 3000 up to 8/16 plus 16 wireless, and Solution 6000 expands to 144 zones. Add a PIR for each room, a reed contact for each external door and accessible window, and glass-break detectors for large windows. For very large sites we'll confirm zone capacity, expanders and any repeaters on your quote.
What gets added automatically?
If you pick a bare panel (rather than a complete kit) the builder auto-adds the required TF008-B 18VAC plug-pack. On a Solution 3000 design that includes any RADION wireless detector, keyfob or panic button, it also auto-adds the B810 RADION receiver that pairs them to the panel. Complete alarm kits already include their power supply (and the Solution 6000 wireless kit includes its receiver), so nothing extra is forced.
Can I control a Bosch alarm from my phone?
Yes. Add a B426-M IP module (Solution 2000/3000) or a CM751B IP / CM368B 4G module (Solution 6000), or choose a Wi-Fi keypad kit, to arm/disarm and get notifications through the Bosch app. The Solution range also integrates with CCTV for a single security solution.
