How the builder works

1. Local NVR system — pick cameras by style and resolution (2MP 1080p up to 8MP 4K, with AI, Dual-Light and 4K shown as badges), then an All-in-One PoE NVR (ND9326P / ND9426P / ND9542P) or an Enterprise recording server (NR9581 / NR9682). We auto-match the channel count and size surveillance hard drives to your retention target.
2. VORTEX cloud system — choose AI cloud cameras (IT939 / IT839 / FD839) that ship with a 1-year XPRO licence and 256 GB edge storage, then add an optional VORTEX cloud-recording plan (30–365 day retention). No NVR or hard drive required.
3. Storage — VIVOTEK NVRs ship bare so you choose capacity; set a retention target and we pick the right surveillance drives (2–16 TB) for the recorder's bay count.

The NR-series recording servers (NR9581 32-ch, NR9682 64-ch) are 8-bay enterprise units for large, high-retention sites and use a separate PoE switch.
