How the Ajax CCTV builder works

Why is there no price shown on the Ajax CCTV builder?

What's the difference between IR and full-colour (HiLight) cameras?
Standard cameras use infrared (IR) LEDs for black-and-white night vision. HiLight (HL) cameras add white-light illumination for full-colour images at night — ideal for entrances, driveways and identifying clothing or vehicle colours after dark.
Which NVR do I need?
Pick a recorder with at least as many channels as cameras. Our builder recommends an 8-channel NVR for up to 8 cameras and a 16-channel NVR beyond that. All Ajax NVRs ship without a hard drive — we'll size storage (typically 2–8TB) for your desired days of footage and include it in the quote.
Can I choose black or white cameras?
Yes — use the finish toggle at the top of the builder to switch the whole system between white and black. Most Ajax cameras come in both finishes; a few accessories are a single colour and we'll fit the closest match.
Do Ajax cameras work with my Ajax alarm?
