Refund policy
At CCTV Guru, you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and unopened
- In its original packaging
- In the same condition you received it
- Returned with a receipt or proof of purchase
How to Start a Return
To request a return, email us at team@cctvguru.com.au with your order number. If your return is approved, we will email you the return address and instructions.
Please do not send items back without approval — items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return Shipping
We don't provide prepaid shipping labels for returns, so you'll need to arrange and cover the cost of return postage yourself. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we can't be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
If we made an error and sent you the wrong product, we will cover the cost of return postage.
Warranty Claims
All warranty claims are handled on a back-to-base basis. This means faulty items need to be shipped to us (or an authorised service centre) for inspection, repair or replacement — we don't offer on-site or in-person warranty service. Warranty length varies by product and manufacturer.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, contact us straight away at team@cctvguru.com.au so we can sort it out. If we sent the wrong item, we'll cover your return postage.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns on:
- Opened or used items
- Mounts and brackets
- Gift cards
- Software licenses and activation codes

Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original item once approved, then place a new order for the item you need.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know if your refund has been approved. If approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method within 2–4 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a little longer to finalise it on their end.
