How the Verkada builder works
- Cameras - choose dome, mini, bullet, fisheye, multisensor, PTZ or remote LTE cameras. Every camera includes onboard storage and a cloud licence (quoted separately).
- Access control - door controllers, readers, face-unlock stations and wireless locks for cloud-managed doors.
- Alarms - wired or wireless alarm panels, keypad, sensors, panic button and sirens with optional professional monitoring.
- Intercom - video and audio intercoms with built-in reader for touchless entry.
- Air quality - SV-series sensors for vape detection, air quality and environmental monitoring.
- Workplace & viewing - viewing stations, Command Connectors for third-party cameras, cellular gateways and Guest/Mailroom software.

Why is there no price shown on the Verkada builder?
Verkada is a cloud-managed platform sold and deployed through certified partners, with per-device cloud licences rather than a fixed online price. We tailor a competitive Australian quote to your exact build, licence term and installation needs. Build your system here and request a quote; we reply by email.
Do Verkada devices need a licence?
Yes. Most Verkada devices (cameras, doors, alarms, sensors, intercoms) include the hardware plus a cloud licence for Verkada Command - typically 1, 3, 5 or 10 years. We include the licensing in your quote; tell us your preferred term in the notes.
I'm a security installer / integrator - can I still use this?
Absolutely. On the quote form choose "Installer / integrator" and add your registered Verkada Command username or email so we can register the quote against your account. End users are welcome too - just choose "End user".
Do I need an NVR or server?
No. Verkada cameras store footage onboard and stream to the cloud, so there's no NVR or dedicated server. To bring existing third-party cameras into Verkada Command, add a Command Connector in the Workplace & viewing step.
