Does the UA-Lite need a separate power supply?
No. The UA-Lite is powered over a single Ethernet cable from a UniFi Access Hub using 802.3af PoE, so no separate power run is required.
What do I need to run the UA-Lite?
A UniFi Access Hub to power and connect the reader, plus a UniFi Access Controller host running UniFi Access to manage users, doors, and policies.
How do people unlock the door?
By tapping an NFC card or fob, or by unlocking from their phone over Bluetooth using the UniFi Access or UI mobile apps.
