Hikvision AE-MN5043(RJ45) 4-Channel Mobile NVR for Vehicle CCTV
The Hikvision AE-MN5043(RJ45) is a rugged mobile network video recorder built for buses, trucks, taxis, fleet vehicles, rail and other onboard-security applications. Four IP cameras connect directly through the recorder’s PoE interfaces, with provision for another four IP cameras through a suitable external PoE switch.
Unlike a standard building NVR, the AE-MN5043 is designed around vehicle power, vibration and movement. It combines a wide 9–36 VDC input, fanless die-cast aluminium chassis, shock-managed removable storage, delayed shutdown, power-loss protection, a built-in super-capacitor, GPS/GLONASS positioning and a built-in G-sensor.

Stable Recording While Moving
The removable 2.5-inch drive bays use vibration management to help protect recordings on rough roads. Redundant recording across two drives is supported where configured.
Vehicle Power Protection
A 9–36 VDC input supports common 12 V and 24 V vehicle systems. Delayed shutdown, scheduled startup/shutdown, a super-capacitor and power-off protection help preserve important data when ignition power changes unexpectedly.
Location Recorded with Video
The built-in GPS/GLONASS module records positioning information alongside video, supporting route review, incident investigation and fleet oversight.
Driving-Event Inputs
Sensor and alarm interfaces can collect vehicle information such as braking, reversing and left/right turns when correctly connected and configured by a vehicle-security installer.
Optional Wireless Connectivity
Pluggable 4G and Wi-Fi modules are available for compatible configurations. They are not included with this base recorder unless specifically stated in the selected offer.
Fanless, Rugged Chassis
The die-cast aluminium enclosure has no cooling fan, reducing moving parts while supporting operation from −25 °C to +70 °C.
Who Is This Recorder For?
This mobile NVR is intended for professionally designed onboard CCTV systems in public transport, school buses, taxis, learner vehicles, trucks, service fleets and specialised mobile equipment. It is not a plug-in replacement for a conventional home or business NVR: vehicle power wiring, ignition sensing, cameras, storage, antennas, optional communications modules and peripheral harnesses must be selected for the complete installation.

Complete Your Mobile CCTV System
The recorder is supplied without storage, cameras or installation cabling. Choose accessories to suit the vehicle, recording period and installation environment.
2.5-inch Vehicle-Rated Storage
The AE-MN5043 uses two removable 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bays. Do not order a standard 3.5-inch surveillance drive for this recorder. Ask us to confirm a compatible vehicle-rated drive and capacity before purchase.

CAT6 Network Cabling
Use quality full-copper CAT6 patch leads between the recorder, compatible RJ45 cameras and any external network equipment. Cable length and routing must suit the vehicle installation.
