How does it see at night?
It's a dual-light camera. Warm-light LEDs keep footage in full colour up to 40 m, or it switches to infrared (black-and-white) up to 40 m in total darkness. You can run it in auto, forced full-colour or IR mode.
Does it have a zoom lens?
Yes — a 2.8–12 mm motorised varifocal lens with remote zoom and auto-focus, so you can frame anything from a tight doorway to a wide driveway and adjust it from the app or NVR without touching the camera.
What smart detection does it have?
Smart Intrusion Prevention (cross-line, intrusion, enter/leave) with human, vehicle and non-motor-vehicle classification and false-alarm filtering, plus ultra motion detection and people counting.
Can it record without an NVR?
Yes — a MicroSD card up to 512 GB enables on-camera recording, so it can run standalone or alongside a recorder.
How is it powered?
Single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3af) over Cat6, or a DC 12 V supply. It draws up to 8.6 W.
Does it support audio?
Yes. It has a built-in microphone and two-way audio, plus 1-in/1-out audio and alarm connections (check local laws before recording audio).
Is it built for outdoors and vandalism?
Yes — an IP67-rated, IK10 vandal-resistant metal housing handles rain, dust and impact, making it suitable for exposed entries and public areas.
Which recorders work with it?
It works with Uniview UNV NVRs via plug-and-play and with most ONVIF (Profile S/G/T/M) recorders. Pair it with a UNV PoE NVR for the full smart feature set.
