This Dahua 10-camera 6MP kit blends two camera types for a smarter security strategy: 4 × DH-IPC-HDW3649H-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 TiOC active-deterrence turrets that don't just record but actively scare intruders off with red/blue strobe, a siren and two-way talk-down — placed at gates, driveways and entries — plus 6 × DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ Smart Dual-Light turrets for true full-colour coverage everywhere else. All ten run on a 16-channel WizSense AI NVR with 6 channels still free to expand. Every camera shoots 6MP full colour day and night. Both recorder options are 16-channel AI NVRs — the difference is search. The standard Standard AI NVR (NVR4216-16P) gives fast Quick Pick target search; the AcuPick AI NVR (NVR5216-16P) adds full AcuPick attribute search — find a person or vehicle by clothing colour, vehicle type and direction across hours of footage. The TiOC and Dual-Light cameras are AcuPick-native, so the 5216 unlocks their full forensic-search potential.

When WizSense AI spots a person or vehicle in a protected zone, the TiOC cameras fire red/blue strobe lighting and an audible siren, and let you talk down the intruder live through the DMSS app — stopping the break-in instead of just filming it.

16 × PoE+ ports built into the NVR — one Cat6 network cable per camera carries power and data, so there are no separate power supplies. Network cabling is run on site and is not included; pre-made Cat6 patch leads are available separately.

Dual SATA bays — HDD not included. Add a surveillance-grade Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple drive (up to 16 TB per bay, 32 TB total); ~8 TB suits 10 cameras for around a month of continuous recording.
Mounting
Brackets and templates included for eave/soffit installs. For brick or flush-wall mounting, add a Dahua wall-mount bracket per camera; a junction box is also available for tidy cable management.

Installation Notes
›Camera placement: put the 4 TiOC active-deterrence cameras at entry points (gates, doors, driveways) and the 6 Dual-Light turrets across the rest of the property.
›Cabling & sealing: run solid-copper Cat6 to each camera and seal outdoor RJ-45 joins with a junction box or weatherproof tape against moisture and salt air.
›Audio & alarm: set TiOC alarm volume to ~30–50% for residential, and check local audio-recording laws before enabling sound recording.

What's the difference between the TiOC and turret cameras?The 4 TiOC cameras add active deterrence — red/blue strobe, a siren and two-way talk-down — so they scare intruders off, not just record. The 6 turrets are full-colour Smart Dual-Light cameras for wide everyday coverage.
Which NVR should I choose — 4216 or 5216?Both are 16-channel AI NVRs. The standard NVR4216 gives Quick Pick target search. The NVR5216 adds AcuPick, which lets you search footage by attributes (clothing colour, vehicle type, direction) — and since these TiOC cameras are AcuPick-native, the 5216 unlocks their full forensic-search potential.
Is the alarm too loud for a home?No — the TiOC siren volume is adjustable from 0–100% and the play count from 1–10 per trigger. Most homes run it at 30–50% to challenge intruders without disturbing neighbours.
Can I talk through the cameras?Yes. The 4 TiOC cameras have a built-in mic and speaker for full two-way audio through the free DMSS app — greet a courier or warn off an intruder from anywhere.
Does a hard drive come included?No — the NVR has two SATA bays but ships without storage. We recommend a surveillance-grade Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple HDD; around 8 TB suits 10 cameras for roughly a month of recording.
Can I add more cameras later?Yes. The NVR has 16 PoE ports and you're using 10, so you can add up to 6 more cameras by plugging them into the spare ports — no recorder upgrade needed.
