What's the difference between the standard and AcuPick NVR?
The 4-channel NVR4104 and 8-channel NVR4108 give Quick Pick target search. The 8-channel AcuPick NVR5208 adds full attribute search — find a person or vehicle by colour, clothing and direction — plus face detection, 2 HDD bays and room to add cameras.
What is Smart Dual-Light?
The cameras use both IR and warm white light. They run on invisible IR until WizSense AI detects a person or vehicle, then switch to warm light for full-colour footage — so you get colour evidence only when it matters, without lighting up the property all night.
Do they record in colour at night?
Yes — full colour 24/7 via the warm-light array. You can also lock them to IR-only mode for discreet black-and-white at night if you prefer no visible light.
Does this kit do AcuPick?
The cameras are AcuPick-native. The 4-channel NVR4104 or 8-channel NVR4108 (Quick Pick) options give target search; choose the 8-channel AcuPick NVR5208 option for full AcuPick attribute search — find a person or vehicle by colour, clothing and direction.
Does a hard drive come included?
No — the NVR has one SATA bay (up to 10 TB) but ships without storage. For 4 × 8MP on motion-only, ~2 TB gives roughly 2–3 weeks; choose more for continuous recording.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes — choose an 8-channel NVR (NVR4108 or AcuPick NVR5208) option and it has 4 spare PoE ports, so you can add up to 4 more cameras. The 4-channel NVR4104 option uses all 4 ports.
