Reducing the connected load extends runtime — at 25–50% load the UPS will typically provide enough time to ride out short brownouts and gracefully shut down connected equipment. Will it work with non-Dahua equipment?
Yes. These are generic line-interactive UPS units and will power any small IT equipment — Hikvision NVRs, TP-Link switches, routers, modems, monitors — as long as total load is within the wattage rating.
