What's in this kit?
Six HiLook IPC-T289H-MU/SL 8 MP 4K all-in-one turret cameras and one 8-channel NVR-108MH-K/8P Pro AI recorder with 8 built-in PoE ports.
What makes the cameras "all-in-one"?
Each combines 4K imaging, Smart Hybrid Light, an active red & blue strobe, an audible alarm and two-way audio in a single turret — surveillance and live deterrence in one unit.
How does the active deterrence work?
On an AI person or vehicle event the camera flashes a red & blue strobe and sounds an alarm, and you can speak through it live via Hik-Connect.
Does the NVR add AI even with non-AI cameras?
Yes — the K-Series runs on-board Motion Detection 2.0 human/vehicle filtering and facial recognition, so you get smart alerts across all channels.
Do I need a separate PoE switch?
No. The NVR has 8 built-in PoE ports, so each camera runs on a single cable for both power and data (≤75 W total).
What hard drive does it take?
One SATA surveillance HDD up to 10 TB. Where an HDD variant is selected it is supplied but not pre-installed, ready to fit.

Yes — the cameras are IP67 rated with a −30 °C to 60 °C operating range for full sun, dust and heavy rain.
How do I view it remotely?
Through the free Hik-Connect mobile app or the iVMS-4200 desktop client for live view, playback and notifications anywhere.
