A single network cable using PoE (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4, max 18 W), or 12 VDC if you prefer a separate supply.
Is it tough enough for Australian conditions?
Yes — IP67 dust and water resistance with a −30 °C to 60 °C operating range handles full sun, dust and heavy rain.
What NVRs and software work with it?
It speaks ONVIF (Profile S/G) and pairs with any HiLook or Hikvision NVR, plus the Hik-Connect app and iVMS-4200 desktop client.
How much on-board storage can it take?
A microSD/SDHC/SDXC card up to 512 GB for local edge recording, with ANR to backfill any footage missed during a network dropout.
