What cameras does this DVR work with?
It records analog cameras over coax in HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS formats, and also accepts IP cameras over the network — a true 5-in-1 hybrid recorder.
Is this a PoE NVR?
No. It's a Turbo HD DVR for coax-cabled analog cameras (plus optional IP channels). It does not provide PoE — analog cameras are powered separately.
What resolution can it record?
Up to 5 MP on the analog channels, with encoding support up to 8 MP @ 8 fps.
Can I add IP cameras too?
Yes — up to 16 network cameras (each up to 8 MP) can be connected for a hybrid setup.

How many hard drives does it take?

Yes — audio can be carried over the coaxial cable from compatible cameras, encoded with G.711u.
How do I view it remotely?
Through the free Hik-Connect mobile app or the iVMS-4200 desktop client, from anywhere with internet.
