4 × TiOC — Deter, Don't Just Record
When WizSense AI spots a person or vehicle in a protected zone, the TiOC cameras fire red/blue strobe lighting and an audible siren, and let you talk down the intruder live through the DMSS app — stopping the break-in instead of just filming it.
6 × Smart Dual-Light Full Colour
The Smart Dual-Light turrets run silent 30 m IR by night, then snap a warm white LED on the instant AI detects activity — recording full-colour, evidence-grade footage of faces, clothing and number plates.
WizSense AI On Every Camera
SMD 4.0 and Perimeter Protection classify people and vehicles, filtering out animals, foliage and shadows — so alarms and active deterrence only fire on real threats, not the neighbour's cat.
16-Channel PoE Recorder
All ten cameras plug into the NVR's 16 built-in PoE ports over a single Cat6 cable each — with 6 channels still free to grow. 4K HDMI output and free DMSS remote viewing.
What's the difference between the TiOC and turret cameras?
The 4 TiOC cameras add active deterrence — red/blue strobe, a siren and two-way talk-down — so they scare intruders off, not just record. The 6 turrets are full-colour Smart Dual-Light cameras for wide everyday coverage.
Which NVR should I choose — 4216 or 5216?
Both are 16-channel AI NVRs. The standard NVR4216 gives Quick Pick target search. The NVR5216 adds AcuPick, which lets you search footage by attributes (clothing colour, vehicle type, direction) — and since these TiOC cameras are AcuPick-native, the 5216 unlocks their full forensic-search potential.
Is the alarm too loud for a home?
No — the TiOC siren volume is adjustable from 0–100% and the play count from 1–10 per trigger. Most homes run it at 30–50% to challenge intruders without disturbing neighbours.
Can I talk through the cameras?
Yes. The 4 TiOC cameras have a built-in mic and speaker for full two-way audio through the free DMSS app — greet a courier or warn off an intruder from anywhere.
Does a hard drive come included?
No — the NVR has two SATA bays but ships without storage. We recommend a surveillance-grade Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple HDD; around 8 TB suits 10 cameras for roughly a month of recording.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. The NVR has 16 PoE ports and you're using 10, so you can add up to 6 more cameras by plugging them into the spare ports — no recorder upgrade needed.
Is this kit NDAA compliant?
No. Dahua products are not NDAA Section 889 compliant. If you need NDAA-compliant cameras for US federal or critical-infrastructure projects, contact our team about Uniview, Hanwha or Axis options.
