What is Smart Dual-Light?
The cameras use both IR and warm white light. They run on invisible IR until WizSense AI detects a person or vehicle, then switch to warm light for full-colour footage — so you get colour evidence only when it matters, without lighting up the property all night.
Do they record in colour at night?
Yes — full colour 24/7 via the warm-light array. You can also lock them to IR-only mode for discreet black-and-white at night if you prefer no visible light.
Does this kit do AcuPick?
Yes — choose the AcuPick AI NVR (NVR5208) option for full AcuPick attribute search (find a person or vehicle by clothing colour, vehicle type and direction). The Standard AI NVR (NVR4108) option gives Quick Pick target search. Both are 8-channel AI NVRs; the cameras are AcuPick-native.
Does a hard drive come included?
No — the NVR has one SATA bay (up to 10 TB) but ships without storage. For 6 × 8MP on motion-only, ~2 TB gives 7–10 days, ~4 TB gives 14–20 days; choose more for continuous recording.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. The NVR has 8 PoE ports and you're using 6, so you can add up to 2 more cameras by plugging them into the spare ports — no recorder upgrade needed.
