Whole UniFi Stack in One Box
Runs the full UniFi application suite — Network, Protect, Access, Talk and Connect — so one console handles routing, WiFi, cameras, door access, and VoIP with no monthly fees.
WiFi 7 Tri-Band
Tri-band WiFi 7 (2.4/5/6 GHz) delivers up to 5.7 Gbps on 6 GHz with 2×2 MU-MIMO and ~160 m² of coverage — fast, low-latency wireless for modern devices.
Built-in Protect NVR
A pre-installed 64 GB microSD records UniFi Protect cameras locally — supports up to 5 HD, 2 × 2K, or 1 × 4K camera — expandable via the microSD slot, no separate NVR needed.
10G SFP+ & Multi-WAN
A 10G SFP+ plus 2.5 GbE WAN and up to 4 WAN ports give multi-gig internet, load balancing, failover, and UniFi LTE backup support.
Enterprise Security & VPN
2.3 Gbps IDS/IPS, Layer 7 firewall, content filtering, ad blocking, plus license-free SD-WAN and a full VPN suite — WireGuard, OpenVPN, L2TP, Teleport and Site Magic.
Integrated PoE Port
Four 2.5 GbE LAN ports include one PoE output (15.4 W) to power a camera or access point directly — add a UniFi PoE switch for larger camera systems.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive networks.
UniFi Dream Router 7
UDR7 console with pre-installed 64 GB microSD.
Power Cable
Universal AC power lead (internal 50 W PSU).
Documentation
Quick-start guide and setup instructions.
Required Separately
An SFP+ module / fibre or RJ45-SFP for the 10G WAN if needed, and a UniFi PoE switch for larger camera systems.
Does the UDR7 run UniFi Protect cameras?
Yes. It includes a built-in Protect NVR with a pre-installed 64 GB microSD and supports up to 5 HD, 2 × 2K, or 1 × 4K camera. Expand storage via the microSD slot.
Does it need a subscription?
No. It runs Network, Protect, Access, Talk and Connect locally on UniFi OS with no monthly fees (optional CyberSecure adds the IDS/IPS signature set).
How many cameras and devices can it handle?
30+ UniFi devices and 300+ clients, plus a small camera load (5 HD / 2 2K / 1 4K). For larger camera systems, use a dedicated UNVR.
Can it power cameras directly?
It has one PoE output port with a 15.4 W budget — enough for a single camera or AP. Add a UniFi PoE switch to power more devices.
What internet speeds does it support?
A 10G SFP+ WAN plus a 2.5 GbE WAN, with up to 2.3 Gbps of IDS/IPS throughput and multi-WAN load balancing/failover.
Is the UDR7 NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the UDR7 is NDAA Section 889 compliant.
