How far can it see at night?Adaptive IR reaches up to 40 m out of the box, and up to 60 m with the optional Vision Enhancer accessory.
What's special about the 1/1.2″ sensor? The large sensor captures far more light than a standard bullet, producing cleaner, brighter 4K footage in low light.
Does it require a subscription? No. UniFi Protect runs locally on a UniFi NVR or Dream Machine with no monthly fees. A microSD card can also be used for on-camera recording.
Can it read number plates and recognise faces?Yes. The Multi-TOPS AI engine includes face recognition and number-plate recognition, plus people, vehicle, and animal detection.
What power does it need?PoE+ (802.3at), up to 15 W. A standard 802.3af PoE port will not power it reliably.
What's the difference between White and Black?Identical specs and performance — only the colour differs. White (UVC-G6-Pro-Bullet) suits light surfaces; Black (UVC-G6-Pro-Bullet-B) suits dark or discreet installs.
