Hikvision Smart Managed · 4 PoE Ports · 60W Budget
Compact Smart PoE Switching for Small CCTV and Intercom Systems
The Hikvision DS-3E1105P-EI is a compact smart-managed PoE switch with four 10/100 Mbps PoE ports and one Fast Ethernet uplink. It is designed for small IP camera, video intercom and access-control installations that need dependable power delivery and useful network-management features without a full-size rack switch.
PoE watchdog can automatically restart an unresponsive powered device, while VLAN support, loop prevention and cable diagnostics make fault finding and network separation easier. Long-range mode supports transmission up to 300 metres on the PoE ports when used with suitable cabling and compatible devices.
Connectivity
4 PoE + 1 uplink
Why Choose the DS-3E1105P-EI?
Automatic PoE RecoveryPoE watchdog monitors connected devices and can restart an unresponsive camera or endpoint to help reduce service visits.
Smart Network ControlSupports 802.1Q VLAN, STP/RSTP loop prevention and port management for better control than a basic unmanaged switch.
Long-Range Camera LinksExtend PoE and data transmission up to 300 metres for suitable surveillance links where standard Ethernet distance is insufficient.
Compact Metal HousingThe small desktop or wall-mountable enclosure is well suited to cupboards, compact installations and distributed network points.

Best For
- Powering up to four compatible IP cameras from one compact switch.
- Hikvision video intercom door stations and other PoE network endpoints.
- Remote cameras that benefit from extended transmission mode.
- Small sites that need VLAN, watchdog and cable-diagnostic functions.
Important Before You Buy
- The four camera ports operate at 10/100 Mbps; choose a Gigabit sibling if every connected endpoint requires Gigabit throughput.
- Check the combined power draw of all connected devices against the 60W total PoE budget.
- Extended-range mode can reduce network speed and should be used only where the installation requires the additional distance.
- Use quality solid-copper network cable and suitable surge protection for the installation environment.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many PoE devices can it power?Up to four compatible PoE devices, provided their combined consumption remains within the 60W total budget and 30W per-port limit.
Is this a Gigabit switch? No. Its PoE and uplink ports are Fast Ethernet. Choose the DS-3E1506P-EI for a four-port Gigabit alternative.
What does PoE watchdog do?It can detect an unresponsive powered device and restart its PoE connection automatically.
Can it power a Hikvision intercom?Yes, when the intercom supports the switch's PoE standard and its power requirement fits within the available budget.
Does it support long cable runs?Yes. Extended mode supports transmission up to 300 metres on ports 1–4 with suitable cabling and compatible equipment.
When should I choose a larger switch?Choose an 8-, 16- or 24-port model when the planned device count, power budget or network-growth requirement exceeds this switch's capacity.
