The Hikvision Zero Blind Spot Starter Kit pairs two of Hikvision's most capable visual technologies for Australian homes, retail, offices and warehouses. It combines one DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL 8MP panoramic ColorVu turret — a dual-lens camera that stitches a seamless 180° wide-area view and replaces two standard cameras — with one DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL 8MP 4K ColorVu 3.0 Smart Hybrid Light Live-Guard turret for pinpoint detail and active deterrence. Both cameras run on a single Cat6 cable to the recorder's built-in PoE ports. Choose a 4-channel DS-7604NI-M1/4P, 8-channel DS-7608NI-M2/8P or 16-channel DS-7616NI-M2/16P M-Series NVR depending on how far you plan to expand — all leave free channels and PoE ports to grow.

Zero Blind Spots
The 180° panoramic turret stitches a flat, wall-to-wall widescreen image — no fish-eye distortion — so a wide driveway or frontage is covered by one camera instead of two, while the ColorVu 3.0 turret locks in detail on a side gate or approach.
True 24/7 Colour
Both cameras are ColorVu — the panoramic sees full colour down to 0.0005 lux at F1.0, and the G3 turret adds Smart Hybrid Light (IR or white) with the same 0.0005 lux colour sensitivity. Clothing and plate colour at night, not grey IR.
Active Deterrence Built In
Both cameras carry a white strobe and built-in speaker. The G3 Live-Guard turret adds two-way audio so you can talk an intruder down from your phone via Hik-Connect — prevention, not just evidence.
Plug & Play PoE — Room to Grow
One Cat6 cable per camera carries power and video to the NVR's built-in PoE ports. The 4CH NVR leaves two free channels, the 8CH six and the 16CH fourteen — add Hikvision cameras later with no extra hardware.

The recorder depends on the variant you choose: the 4-Channel kit ships with the DS-7604NI-M1/4P (4 PoE ports, single SATA bay), the 8-Channel kit with the DS-7608NI-M2/8P (8 PoE ports, dual SATA bay), and the 16-Channel kit with the DS-7616NI-M2/16P (16 PoE ports, dual SATA bay). All are M-Series NVRs with up to 32 MP per channel and Hik-Connect remote access; the 8CH and 16CH add 8K HDMI output. |

›Camera placement: mount the 180° panoramic turret on a wide driveway, frontage or yard where one camera replaces two, and the ColorVu 3.0 Live-Guard turret on a side gate, porch or approach where deterrence and face/plate detail matter.

Does the 180° image look like a fish-eye?
No. The panoramic camera uses two lenses and internal stitching to create a flat, widescreen 180° image without the distortion of a single fish-eye lens.
What's the difference between the two cameras?
The DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL is a 180° panoramic camera for wide-area, no-blind-spot coverage; the DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL is a 4K ColorVu 3.0 Live-Guard turret for pinpoint detail and two-way-audio deterrence on a focused approach.
Do I need to buy a hard drive?
Yes. The NVR ships without an HDD so you can size storage to your retention needs. Add a surveillance-grade drive (2 TB–14 TB); for 4K we recommend 4 TB or larger.
What's the difference between the 4CH, 8CH and 16CH variants?
The 4-Channel kit uses the DS-7604NI-M1/4P (4 PoE ports, single HDD bay) — ideal for just these two cameras with a little room to spare. The 8-Channel DS-7608NI-M2/8P (8 PoE, dual bay) and 16-Channel DS-7616NI-M2/16P (16 PoE, dual bay) leave more channels free for expansion. Choose 16CH if you plan to add many more cameras later.
How are the cameras powered?
Each camera runs on a single Cat6 cable to one of the NVR's built-in PoE ports — no separate power supplies. Cat6 cabling is run on site and not included.
