How The Modular System Works

Every modular entrance starts with the VTO4202F-P1 / P-S3 2MP camera module (video, audio and door control). You then add the modules above to suit the property — buttons for calling, a keypad or card reader for access, and indicator or blank modules to finish the layout. Modules mount together on a Dahua modular plate and box (e.g. VTM125/VTM126 plates and VTM127/VTM128 boxes) sized to the number of modules.

What do these modules attach to?
They connect to the Dahua VTO4202F 2MP camera module (VTO4202F-P1 or VTO4202F-P-S3), which provides the camera, audio and door-control functions.
Do I need a call button?
For visitors to ring a unit you need a button module (MB1/MB2/MB5) unless the camera module you use already has an integrated button.
How do I unlock by card or PIN?
Add the card reader (MR) for IC/Mifare cards or the keypad (MK) for PIN entry, configured in the Dahua system.
What are the ML and MN modules for?
