Dahua DHI-VTO4202F-P1: a modular 2-wire IP apartment door station
The Dahua DHI-VTO4202F-P1 is the one-button camera module for a Dahua modular apartment entry system. It combines a 2MP 1/2.9-inch CMOS camera, a 168.6° horizontal field of view, two-way audio and door-release interfaces in an outdoor-rated unit. It is designed for an apartment or commercial entrance—not as a complete intercom kit on its own.

Choose the right system parts before installation
This station needs a compatible intercom system around it. For a Dahua 2-wire project, add the DHI-AC-VTNS1001B-2 2-wire switch and a DHI-VTH5422HW 7-inch 2-wire Wi-Fi indoor monitor. For an Ethernet deployment, use suitable PoE equipment. A door lock, exit button, mounting hardware and any additional call, keypad or card-reader modules are selected to suit the project—not included with this camera module.
Dahua lists the VTM75 rain cover, VTM79 flush-mounted box and VTM77 front panel as compatible accessories. Choose surface or flush mounting before ordering, and follow the supplied installation guide for weather sealing and final wiring.
Wide visitor coverageThe 168.6° horizontal, 87.1° vertical and 176.7° diagonal field of view captures visitors and more of the entrance area than a standard narrow-angle call panel.
Built for retrofit or IP projectsRun it from a Dahua 2-wire switch where existing cabling is being reused, or deploy it on Ethernet with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE where an IP network is available.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a complete door intercom kit?No. It is the one-button outdoor camera module. Select a compatible switch/controller, indoor monitor or mobile-app setup, mounting parts and a suitable lock separately.
Can it reuse two existing wires?Yes, in a Dahua 2-wire IP system with a compatible Dahua 2-wire switch. Dahua specifies a maximum 50 m supply distance for that supply method; confirm the full system design with your installer.
Can it use PoE instead?Yes. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE. If you use its 12 V/600 mA output to power a load, Dahua specifies an 802.3at PSE switch.
How do I protect the outdoor installation?The front panel is IP65 and IK07 rated, but select the correct compatible frame/rain cover and follow the official guide's sealing instructions for the chosen surface or flush installation.
Can visitors be answered remotely?When it is configured as part of a compatible Dahua intercom system, it supports SIP/P2P, two-way talk and remote door unlocking through the connected system or app.
