The Dahua DHI-VTH5422HW is a white 7-inch indoor monitor for Dahua digital two-wire IP systems, with an alternative Ethernet/standard PoE connection. The non-W model listed here does not include Wi-Fi. It provides a local screen for visitor calls and compatible camera viewing; use a matched door station and the correct system wiring.
Wiring: 2-Wire IP / Ethernet PoE
This exact VTH5422HW monitor supports Dahua digital two-wire IP or Ethernet with standard PoE. It is not the VTH5422HW-W Wi-Fi version and does not have built-in Wi-Fi. A compatible two-wire IP switch is needed for a two-wire installation; it is not a two-wire hybrid or four-wire analogue monitor.
Existing cable can be reused only after checking conductor size, cable condition, distance, polarity where applicable and the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Matching the wire count alone does not establish compatibility. Locks, gate controls and their power requirements must be checked separately.
