Does the G6 PTZ require a UniFi Protect subscription?
No. UniFi Protect runs locally on a UniFi NVR or Dream Machine. There are no monthly fees or cloud subscriptions required.
What do I need to run the G6 PTZ?
A UniFi Protect host — such as a UNVR, Cloud Key Gen2 Plus, or a UniFi Dream Machine Pro/SE/Pro Max/Dream Wall — plus a PoE+ (802.3at) switch to power the camera, as it draws up to 24.5 W.
How does the 10× zoom work?
