What height should the ISC-PPR1-W16 be mounted at?
Mount the detector on a wall between 2 m and 3 m high. There are no height adjustments required, so simply install within this range for correct pet-immune coverage.
Will it ignore my pets?
Yes. It provides reliable pet immunity for animals weighing up to 4.5 kg, such as cats and small dogs, while still detecting human-sized intruders.
How is it wired and powered?
The ISC-PPR1-W16 is a hardwired detector running on 9-15 VDC. It provides one N/C (normally closed) dry alarm output plus an N/C tamper relay for connection to your panel's zone inputs.
Which alarm panels is it compatible with?
It suits any conventional hardwired alarm panel, and pairs perfectly with Bosch Solution 2000, 3000 and 6000 control panels via a standard zone input.
What area does it cover?
Coverage is field-selectable between a wide 18 x 25 m pattern and a focused 8 x 10 m short range, with an 18 m detection radius.
Can it be used outdoors?
No. With an IP41 / IK04 rating it is designed for indoor use. For exterior detection choose a Bosch outdoor-rated PIR such as the OD850 series.
