Can the OD850-F1 be used outdoors?

What mounting height does it need?
Mount it to a plastic wall bracket at a height of 2.1 m to 2.7 m for the correct 15×15m detection pattern.
How large an area does it cover?
It provides a 15 × 15 m detection area, ideal for perimeters, side passages and exterior zones.
How is it wired and powered?
It is hardwired on 10–15 VDC and provides both an N/C output and an SPDT output, plus a timed relay adjustable from 2 seconds to 10 minutes.
How is TriTech different from a standard PIR?
TriTech combines dual-element PIR with microwave detection and requires both to agree before triggering, giving much better false alarm immunity outdoors.
