Built for High Security
Designed for 24-hour surveillance of vault walls and doors, safes, night safes and ATMs, detecting drilling, cutting, grinding and thermal-lance attacks.
SENSTEC Sensing
The SENSTEC sensor combined with microcontroller-based signal processing distinguishes genuine attack vibrations from background structural noise.
DIP-Switch Sensitivity
On-board DIP switches let installers tune detection sensitivity to the wall or safe material, balancing early warning against nuisance triggers.
Low Profile, Easy Wiring
An IP43 low-profile surface housing, 3-6 mA draw, 8-16 VDC supply and a single N/C output make it simple to fit and integrate.
What does the ISN-SM-50 protect?
It is a high-security seismic detector for 24-hour surveillance of vault walls and doors, safes, night safes and ATMs, sensing the vibrations of drilling, cutting and forced attacks.
How do I mount it?
The low-profile IP43 plastic housing surface-mounts directly to the protected structure. Fix it firmly to the wall, safe or vault surface so structure-borne vibration transfers cleanly to the SENSTEC sensor.
How is sensitivity adjusted?
Detection sensitivity is set with on-board DIP switches, letting you tune the detector to the wall or safe material and required attack response while minimising nuisance alarms.
What power and output does it use?
It runs on 8-16 VDC, draws only 3-6 mA and provides a single normally-closed (N/C) alarm relay contact that wires into a zone on your alarm panel.
Which panels can I connect it to?
With a standard N/C output it integrates with high-security and commercial Bosch panels such as the Solution 6000, wired as a dedicated 24-hour protection zone.
How does it avoid false alarms?
The SENSTEC sensor and microcontroller-based signal processing analyse the vibration signature to separate genuine attacks from everyday structural noise and vibration.
