Two Sensors in One
A magnetic reed contact detects opening while the inertia sensor catches forced attack on the door or frame.
Adjustable Sensitivity
Selectable gross or minor attack settings tune the vibration response to the door type.
Supervised Loop
Screw terminals and a supervised external input let you add a hardwired contact to the same wireless point.
Fully Wireless
433 MHz communication with a built-in test mode makes install and commissioning quick.
What receiver does the RF3405E need?
It requires a Bosch RADION receiver such as the B810 (or RFRC-STR2) on your Solution panel to receive its 433 MHz signals.
What does it detect?
Both door/window opening via the magnetic reed switch and forced attack via the built-in vibration (inertia) sensor.
Can I connect an extra wired contact?
Yes — it has a supervised external loop with screw terminals so you can add a hardwired contact to the same point.
Can I adjust the vibration sensitivity?
Yes — selectable gross or minor attack settings let you match the response to the door or window.
What battery does it use and how long does it last?
One CR123A lithium battery, lasting around three years.
How do I test it after installation?
Use the built-in test mode to confirm reliable signalling before arming the system.
