What is the RFDW-SM?
A RADION wireless reed switch that detects when a door or window opens and reports it to the alarm system wirelessly.
Does it need a receiver?
Yes. It requires a Bosch B810 RADION receiver to operate on the alarm system.
Which panels does it suit?
It works with Bosch RADION-capable systems such as Solution 3000 via the B810 receiver; it is not compatible with Solution 2000 or Solution 6000.
What is the detection gap?
Up to 20mm between the contact and its magnet before the alarm triggers.
What battery does it use?
A single AAA 1.5V battery.
How is it mounted?
It surface mounts to the door or window frame with the magnet on the moving leaf.
