VIVOTEK Thermal Turret
VIVOTEK TT9333-E Thermal Turret Camera — Australian Stock & 5-Year Warranty
The VIVOTEK TT9333-E is a compact outdoor bi-spectrum thermal turret camera that fuses a 256 × 192 thermal sensor with a 4MP full-colour visible camera in a single IP66 housing. Because it detects heat rather than reflected light, it sees people, vehicles and hot-spots in total darkness, glare, smoke, dust and light fog — the moments ordinary cameras miss. On-board temperature measurement adds early-warning alarms for overheating machinery and fire, while deep-learning VCA analytics classify humans vs. vehicles to slash false alarms. Choose the wide 3.5 mm lens for area coverage or the 7 mm lens for long-range detection out to nearly a kilometre.
Why the TT9333-E
Sees in Complete Darkness
The uncooled VOx microbolometer detects thermal radiation (8–14 µm), so there's no reliance on IR light or ambient illumination. Reliable 24/7 detection through glare, shadow, smoke and light fog.
Temperature Measurement & Alarms
Measures −20 °C to 150 °C with ±2 % accuracy using point, line and area rules. Trigger threshold, temperature-difference and rate-of-rise alarms for fire prevention and equipment monitoring.
AI Human / Vehicle Classification
Deep-learning VCA — intrusion, single & double line crossing, loitering, wrong-way and enter/leave — classifies objects as human or vehicle to filter out animals, weather and foliage, cutting false alerts.
Bi-Spectrum Fusion
Thermal for detection, 4MP colour for identification — streamed together so operators confirm what triggered an alarm without switching cameras. Early fire, flame and smoking detection included.
Two Lens Options, One Product
3.5 mm delivers a wide 48° thermal field for yards, forecourts and compounds. 7 mm narrows to 24° for perimeters and long approaches — vehicle detection to ~894 m. Pick your lens from the dropdown.
Compact & Built for Australia
A discreet IP66 turret rated −40 °C to +60 °C with a built-in mic and speaker for two-way audio. Runs on a single PoE cable (or 12 VDC / 24 VAC) at just 10 W, with 1-in/1-out alarm I/O and RS-485.

VIVOTEK Thermal Turret Dimension Drawing
What's the difference between the 3.5 mm and 7 mm lens? The 3.5 mm gives a wide 48° thermal view for covering open areas at shorter range. The 7 mm narrows to 24° for long-range detection down perimeters and approaches — vehicle detection reaches roughly 894 m. Both share the same 256 × 192 thermal core and 4MP colour camera.
How is the turret different from the TB9333-E bullet?Identical thermal and analytics performance in a smaller, lower-profile turret housing (Ø140 mm, ~1 kg) with a built-in microphone and lower 10 W power draw — ideal where a discreet dome-style camera suits the site better than a bullet.
Can it really see in complete darkness?Yes. Thermal imaging detects heat, not reflected light, so it works in 0-lux darkness with no IR illuminator — and continues to see through glare, shadow, smoke, dust and light fog where standard cameras struggle.
How accurate is the temperature measurement? It measures −20 °C to 150 °C with ±2 % accuracy and lets you set point, line and area rules with threshold, difference and rate-of-rise alarms — ideal for early fire warning and monitoring electrical panels or machinery.
How is it powered and what recorder do I need?Power it over a single PoE (802.3af) cable, or via 12 VDC / 24 VAC. It streams H.265 with ONVIF Profile S/G/T, so it works with VIVOTEK NVRs and most ONVIF-compatible recorders and VMS platforms.
Is it suitable for outdoor Australian sites?Absolutely. The IP66 housing is rated −40 °C to +60 °C and up to 90 % humidity, backed by a 5-year manufacturer warranty and local Australian support and stock.
