The Lite 8 PoE switch supplies power and data to the gateway, siren and CloudKey+ through Ethernet cabling.
What is included in this kit?Three USL-Motion single-unit sensors, one USL-Gateway, one UP-Siren-PoE, one UCK-G2-SSD CloudKey+ with 1TB SSD, and one USW-Lite-8-PoE switch.
Do I need another UniFi console?The included CloudKey+ provides the console for UniFi Protect and UniFi Network. Connect the kit to your existing router and configure the applications.
Is the whole kit wireless?The three motion sensors communicate wirelessly with the SuperLink Gateway. The gateway, siren and CloudKey+ use wired Ethernet and PoE connections.
Does the siren sound automatically after installation?Devices must be adopted and the desired triggers, scopes, siren actions and notifications configured in UniFi Protect Alarm Manager. Test the rules after setup.
Are network cables and installation included?Ethernet cabling, site installation and configuration services are not included. Request a separate installation/configuration quote.
Does it include backup power or cellular backup?No. A UPS and cellular backup are not included. Battery-powered sensors do not keep the wired gateway, console, switch or siren running during a mains outage.
Is this a professionally monitored alarm?No professional monitoring service is included. This kit provides devices for motion alerts and siren actions through configured UniFi Protect rules.
Can I add more motion sensors?Yes. The gateway supports up to 96 SuperLink clients. Additional sensors are sold separately; placement, radio conditions and console capacity must be considered.
