Does the Eve Flare work with Android or Google Home?
No. Eve Flare is built for Apple HomeKit and is controlled through the Apple Home or Eve app on an iPhone or iPad. It is not compatible with Android, Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
Is the Eve Flare waterproof for outdoor use?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it resists dust and water jets. Use it on the balcony, terrace or by the pool, then carry it back inside on its handle when you're done.
How long does the battery last and how does it charge?
The built-in rechargeable battery gives 6+ hours of light on a charge. It tops up cable-free by sitting on the included wireless charging base.
Can it show colours or just white?
Both. Eve Flare produces the full RGB colour spectrum plus adjustable white, all set from the Eve or Apple Home app, or automated with scenes and timers.
Do I need a hub or bridge?
No bridge is required for direct control over Bluetooth. Add an Apple home hub (HomePod or Apple TV) and Eve Flare joins your Thread network for remote access and automations.
What comes in the box?
One Eve Flare lamp, a wireless charging base, a power supply and a Quick Start Guide. An iPhone or iPad is required for setup (not included).
