The Eve Energy is an Apple HomeKit smart plug and true power meter for Australian Type I sockets. Turn lights and appliances on or off with Siri, the Eve app or the built-in button, and see exactly how much power they draw — plus the projected running cost based on your electricity rate. Built-in schedules run on the plug itself, independently of your iPhone and network, while Thread connectivity makes your smart home more responsive and lets Eve Energy act as a router node to extend its reach. No bridge, no account, no subscription — just private, local Apple HomeKit control.
Smart plug & power meter in one
Switch a connected lamp or appliance on and off via app, Siri or the built-in button — and track exactly how much power it uses, with projected running cost based on your electricity rate.
Schedules that run on their own
Set up autonomous schedules that switch devices independently of your iPhone and home network, putting your appliances on autopilot day and night.
Thread for a stronger smart home
Eve Energy joins your Thread network automatically and works as a router node, enhancing the stability and reach of every Thread accessory in your home.
Private by design
No bridge, no gateway, no Eve account and no subscription. Setup is quick and TÜV-certified, and all automation runs locally through Apple HomeKit for the highest data privacy.
Does Eve Energy 10ECF6001 work with Android, Google Home or Alexa?
No. This Thread generation is built exclusively for Apple HomeKit and is set up and controlled through the Apple Home or Eve app on an iPhone or iPad. It is not a Matter device and does not work with Android, Google Home, Alexa or SmartThings.
Do I need a home hub?
Local control over Bluetooth works without a hub. To control Eve Energy while away from home, run schedules based on presence, or use it as a Thread router node, you need an Apple home hub with Thread — a HomePod mini, HomePod (2nd gen) or Apple TV 4K with Thread.
How much power can it switch?
Eve Energy is rated for a maximum of 10 A / 2300 W at AC 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz. It fits Australian Type I (AS 3112) wall sockets.
Does it really measure energy use?
Yes. Eve Energy is a true power meter. It tracks real-time consumption and total usage, and shows projected running cost based on your electricity rate — all in the Eve app, with no subscription.
Can I set schedules without my phone?
Yes. Schedules are stored on the device, so it switches connected lamps or appliances on and off automatically — independently of your iPhone and home network. A built-in button also toggles it manually.
Is my data private?
Yes. Eve requires no account, no registration and no cloud. All automation runs locally through Apple HomeKit for the highest data privacy.
