Setup and Compatibility
Use a mounting structure and bracket combination rated for the camera’s weight and wind exposure. A PTZ only records the direction it is facing, so retain fixed cameras where continuous coverage is essential. Check PoE+ capacity, cable routing and recorder compatibility before installation. Audio requires external equipment through the audio connections; a built-in microphone or speaker is not specified. Newer manufacturer documents list additional analytics, so confirm the supplied unit’s firmware before relying on them.
Choosing Accessories
Dahua lists the PFB305W wall bracket and 24V/2.5A adapter as included accessories. Confirm the supplied package before installation. Optional PFB300C, PFB301C and PFA151 options need the appropriate mounting adapters. Add a surveillance microSD card if local recording is required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does 250m IR mean identification at 250m?
No. IR illumination range and identification detail are different. Lens position, lighting, target size and installation conditions determine useful detail.
Does this PTZ record every direction at once?
No. It records the direction currently in view. Use fixed cameras for areas that must remain continuously visible.
Does it need a Hi-PoE injector?
The datasheet specifies IEEE 802.3at PoE+ or 24V DC. Check port power capacity and installation requirements rather than choosing a supply by brand alone.
