Bullet or dome — which for my install?
Domes (like the HDBW3667E) are ceiling-mounted, discreet and vandal-resistant — ideal for indoor foyers, lobbies and eaves. Bullets (like the HFW3867E) are wall-mounted, more visible and better for long horizontal views like driveways.
What's the difference between the "-ANZ" and standard IPC-HDBW3667E-AS-IL?
The -ANZ is the Australia / New Zealand regional variant with local firmware, supported by the Dahua AU distribution channel — that's what carries the local 3-year warranty. Non-ANZ grey-market units are not warranted by AU distributors.
Does it have red/blue strobe or siren?
No — this is not a TiOC. The warm light provides passive visual deterrence, but there is no built-in strobe or speaker. For active audio-visual deterrence, see the Dahua TiOC PRO range.
What's IK10 vandal-rating in real terms?
IK10 is the highest impact rating in the IK protection standard — the dome withstands an impact equivalent to a 5 kg mass dropped from 40 cm. Designed for high-vandalism positions like retail counters, hallways and lift lobbies.
How far does the night vision reach?
Up to 30 m IR (stealth) or 30 m warm light (full colour). Smart Dual Light auto-switches based on SMD-classified event.
Will it work with my existing Hikvision or UNV NVR?
Yes for live view + recording via ONVIF Profile S/T. AI features (AcuPick, human/vehicle metadata) only work end-to-end with a Dahua AI NVR.
Does it support standard PoE?
Yes — runs on PoE 802.3af. Max draw only 7.5 W.
Operating temperature range?
−40 °C to +60 °C — alpine NSW to tropical Top End rated. Metal IP67 chassis.
