Is this camera suitable for outdoor use?
No — the FD9182-H is an indoor-only recessed dome and is not weatherproof. Use it in ceilings within retail, office, hospitality and residential interiors.
What lens and field of view does it have?
A fixed 2.8mm F2.0 lens giving a wide 103° horizontal, 76° vertical and 134° diagonal field of view.
How does it perform in low light?
WDR Pro balances harsh light, and it reaches 0.03 lux in colour (under 0.005 lux in black-and-white) with a removable IR-cut filter for day/night switching.
How is it powered?
Over a single PoE cable, drawing a maximum of just 3.6W — no separate power supply needed.
Does it support onboard recording?
Yes — a microSD/SDHC/SDXC slot supports cards up to 1TB, and it can also record to NAS over the network.
