Eight 10G SFP+ Ports
Eight high-bandwidth 10G SFP+ ports provide a dedicated aggregation layer for high-speed interconnects between switches, servers, and UniFi gear — perfect for collapsing multiple links into one fast backbone.
Link Aggregation for Capacity & Availability
Bond multiple ports together to increase total throughput and add redundancy, so a single link failure won't take your network down — built for resilient interconnect topologies.
160 Gbps Switching Capacity
Up to 80 Gbps non-blocking throughput, 160 Gbps switching capacity, and a 119.04 Mpps forwarding rate keep data moving without bottlenecks across demanding workloads.
Silent Fanless Design
A completely fanless 1U chassis runs silently and reliably — ideal for offices, studios, and quiet environments where rack noise is a concern, with no moving parts to fail.
Copper & Fibre Flexibility
The built-in 36 W power supply supports copper Ethernet UF-RJ45-10G modules (sold separately) in all eight ports, so you can mix 10G fibre and copper to match your run.
UniFi Network Management
Configure, monitor, and manage the switch from the UniFi Network application alongside the rest of your UniFi stack — one pane of glass, no licensing fees.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive deployments where supply-chain integrity is a requirement.
What is the USW-Aggregation used for?
It's a Layer 2 aggregation switch with eight 10G SFP+ ports, designed to bond high-bandwidth links and serve as a fast backbone between switches, servers, and other UniFi gear.
Does it support copper 10G connections?
Yes. With UF-RJ45-10G copper Ethernet modules (sold separately), all eight ports can run copper instead of fibre — the internal 36 W supply powers them in every port.
Is the switch fanless?
Yes. The USW-Aggregation is completely fanless, running silently with no moving parts — ideal for quiet offices, studios, and home racks.
How is it managed?
It's managed through the UniFi Network application, giving you central control and monitoring alongside your other UniFi devices with no licensing fees.
Does it provide PoE?
No. The USW-Aggregation is an SFP+ aggregation switch and does not output PoE. Use a UniFi PoE switch for powering cameras and access points.
Is the USW-Aggregation NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the USW-Aggregation is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
