Plan the Door Hardware
Door locks, exit buttons, door contacts and any high-current maglock supply are selected separately to suit your door type and fail-safe / fail-secure requirements.

Run quality Cat5e/Cat6 from the switch to the terminal and monitor for reliable PoE power and data. Keep the switch in a dry, ventilated comms location.
