GRANDSTREAM · VIDEO INTERCOM & DOOR ACCESS
See visitors and answer the door over your IP network
The GDS3727 combines a camera, a single illuminated call button and two-way audio in a compact door station. It suits a small office entry, reception doorway or residential access point where visitors should be able to call a configured indoor station or SIP endpoint. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 offers a network option where running a data cable is difficult; power and any lock wiring are still required.
Choose the right GDS model
This is the single-button, Wi-Fi-capable GDS3727. Its polymer enclosure carries IP66 and IK07 ratings. It has one solid-state door-release relay and two alarm inputs. It does not include the GDS3725 numeric keypad, the GDS3726Q four-button layout or the metal models’ IK10 rating.
The 4MP image sensor delivers a specified maximum video stream of 1920 × 1080 at up to 30fps. Wide dynamic range and automatic white illumination help with changing entrance lighting. Actual image quality depends on mounting position, backlighting and scene conditions.
Plan a complete entry system
Pair the call point with a separately purchased, configured indoor station such as the Grandstream GSC3574. A typical wired design uses a PoE network connection, a receiving station and a compatible electric strike or magnetic lock with its own suitable supply. The door-station relay provides a control function; it does not remove the need to design the lock circuit correctly.
Grandstream supports SIP, ONVIF Profile S and RTSP workflows. Confirm the receiving device’s video codec, authentication, DTMF release method and firmware. For an existing Yealink installation, ask us to check the exact handset and phone-system configuration before ordering.

Installation and commissioning
- Confirm the mounting position, visitor field of view, cable entry and receiving endpoint.
- Provide compatible PoE or 12V DC power. Wi-Fi installation still needs a power connection.
- Configure the network, call destination and access credentials, then test audio and video.
- Connect the lock control circuit through a qualified installer and verify door release, exit operation and any configured alarm inputs.
For outdoor fitting, follow the manufacturer’s sealing and cable-entry instructions. Weather ratings depend on correct installation.
Included and optional equipment
The manufacturer lists the door station, wall bracket, terminal-block back panel, mounting items, quick installation documentation and one IC card. A PoE switch or injector, DC supply, indoor monitor, electric lock, storage card and installation are separate. Rain covers and brackets must be checked against the GDS3727; the GDS372x flush-mount box is not applicable to this model.
Add a Grandstream GSC3574 white indoor station for a compatible Grandstream entry system, configured to suit your site.

Frequently asked questions
Does this model have a PIN keypad?
GDS3727 has one doorbell button. It does not have the numeric keypad found on GDS3725. Choose this model for a simple visitor call point with supported card, app or configured remote-release workflows.
Is Wi-Fi operation completely wireless?
Wi-Fi carries the network connection, but the station still needs power. Use a suitable 12V DC source, or install Ethernet with IEEE 802.3af PoE. The electric lock also needs its own correctly designed power and release wiring.
Can it call a Yealink phone?
SIP integration depends on the exact phone, firmware, video codecs, call routing and DTMF configuration. Request a compatibility check for your Yealink model before ordering; SIP support alone does not guarantee video or door release.
Will it work without an IP PBX?
Grandstream supports direct IP calling for suitable local configurations. A SIP PBX is useful where you need managed extensions, call routing or a wider phone system. Commission and test the intended call path before handover.
Does it include a lock or indoor screen?
This listing is for one GDS3727 door station with its standard mounting items and documentation. An indoor station, electric lock, lock power supply, network equipment and installation are separate.
Can I attach a Wiegand reader?
GDS3727 has no Wiegand port. Do not select it for a design that depends on that interface. Check the exact reader, access-control wiring and supported interface before choosing a door station.
