Refresh rates depend on the source device, connection, cable and display settings. A higher refresh-rate screen does not increase the frame rate of recorded CCTV footage.
Setup and Buying Advice
- Check your desk space, viewing distance and output connections.
- Fit the supplied base or a suitable VESA mount using the installation instructions.
- Connect the display and supplied power equipment with the devices powered off.
- Select the correct input, native resolution and supported refresh rate on your source device.
- Keep ventilation openings clear and use the display indoors.
For permanent CCTV operation, choose a monitor explicitly rated for your required operating hours. This office/gaming listing is not a claim of 24/7 duty. Compare our CCTV and security monitor range and select a model explicitly rated for 24/7 use if continuous surveillance is the priority.
Optional Accessories
A VESA mount must match the 100 × 100mm hole pattern and carry the display safely. Contact us before choosing a bracket. Add a Belkin surge protector for optional mains-side protection; it does not provide battery backup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect an NVR or DVR?
A compatible video output can be connected, but the recorder must support a resolution and timing accepted by the monitor. This screen is not an NVR and does not record footage.
How do I get the maximum refresh rate?
HDMI 2.0: FHD 240Hz; DisplayPort 1.4: FHD 240Hz. Your computer, cable and selected display mode must also support the required resolution and refresh rate.
Does it have speakers?
Audio output. Do not assume an audio output means speakers are built in.
Can it be wall mounted?
Yes, with a separately selected VESA mount matching 100 × 100mm and the screen weight. Confirm screw size, depth and clearance in the installation guide.
