Does this camera have active deterrence (strobe / siren)?
No. The 3866TP-ZAS-AUS is a silent 4K IR surveillance camera — it does not include red/blue strobe lights, built-in siren or voice broadcast, and it does not include a warm-light LED. If you need active deterrence, look at the Dahua TiOC line-up (HFW3849T1-ZAS-PV-ANZ-S2 is the closest equivalent in the same form factor).
Does it support AcuPick AI search?
No. AcuPick is reserved for Dahua's TiOC AcuPick line-up. This camera is part of the WizSense 3 Series and supports SMD 4.0 human/vehicle classification, IVS tripwire/intrusion, and Quick Pick (with an AI NVR) — all of which work on-camera or with any Dahua AI NVR.
What is Quick Pick and how is it different from AcuPick?
Quick Pick lets you pull human and vehicle targets straight from SMD events when the camera is paired with an AI NVR. AcuPick goes further — it indexes attribute metadata (clothing colour, vehicle type) so you can search live and recorded video by attribute. Quick Pick is "show me the people from this clip"; AcuPick is "show me everyone wearing red across the entire week".
Can the camera pan and tilt remotely?
No. The 3866TP-ZAS is a motorised vari-focal bullet, not a PTZ. The lens supports remote zoom and auto-focus, but the camera body itself does not pan or tilt remotely — the housing is aimed manually at install time. For full remote pan/tilt/zoom, look at a Dahua PTZ.
How much does the 5× motorised zoom cover at full telephoto?
At 13.5 mm telephoto, the camera will detect motion at 289.7 m, recognise a person at 57.9 m, and identify a face at 29.0 m. At the 2.7 mm wide end, it covers a 109° horizontal field of view — a full driveway or carpark from a single mounting point.
What does the camera see at night?
Four IR LEDs deliver 60 m of infrared illumination, producing clear monochrome 4K footage in complete darkness. In low-light colour conditions (e.g. ambient streetlight) the 1/2.8" sensor produces usable colour image at 0.007 lux before the IR cuts in.
Does it have a built-in microphone?
Yes — the camera has a built-in microphone for capturing scene audio. The ZAS variant also adds external audio in / out (RCA) for connecting an external mic or speaker, plus alarm in / out for PIRs or door contacts.
