Powered by Dahua’s WizSense AI engine, this NVR supports Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD+), face detection, perimeter protection, and real-time alerts. It can handle IP cameras up to 16MP, and offers 4K HDMI output for high-resolution live view and playback.

      AI ability is poor

      The AI doesn't always process motion events, likewise the IVS rules on the nvr seem to hit me with false alarms. Set these through cameras if they have the ability, it seems to be much more effective and reliable

      So far, I have been happy with the NVR. It has been easy to set up.

      I like that it can be configured either directly through its monitor output or via the LAN. Previous CCTVs I’ve had could only be configured if the NVR was connected directly to a monitor.

      The one thing I would like to see is a picture-in-picture (PiP) display so I could monitor one camera easily while keeping an eye on another. I had this in a Swann NVR so I could see the front of the house in the main shot and the front door camera in the PiP.
