AXIS Axis A9188 Network I/O Relay Module (0820-001)

NDAA Compliant • Network I/O Relay ModuleAXIS A9188 (0820-001) — Australian Stock & 5-Year Warranty The AXIS A9188 Network I/O Relay Module is an intelligent, network-connected I/O expander that adds 8 configurable I/Os with supervised inputs and 8 Form C relays to any Axis system. Built on an open platform with the VAPIX open API, it integrates tightly with the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller and third-party facility systems such as elevator floor management and HVAC. It also supplies 12 V DC and 24 V DC power out to connected field devices, so it can extend the functionality of virtually any Axis product that needs extra inputs, outputs or relays. DIGITAL I/O 8x Configurable RELAYS 8x Form C POWER INPUT PoE+ or 8–28 V DC OPEN API VAPIX & ACAP Supervised inputs for genuine line security Unlike a basic relay board, every one of the eight I/Os on the A9188 can be set as a standard input, a supervised input with analog read-out, or an output. Supervised inputs monitor the 0–12 V range across four states, so the module can tell the difference between a normal loop, an alarm, a cut cable and a shorted cable. Combined with a dedicated tamper input and a 30,000-event FIFO log, that makes the A9188 suitable for access control and alarm interfaces where line integrity actually matters. Elevator & floor management Eight Form C relays rated to 1 A at 48 V DC map neatly onto elevator floor buttons, letting an AXIS A1001 door controller restrict which levels a credential can reach. Powers your field devices Dual 12 V DC and 24 V DC outputs feed locks, sensors and sounders directly — up to 12 W shared when running on PoE Class 4 or DC input, or 3.6 W on PoE Class 3. Open integration VAPIX open API, AXIS Video Hosting System with One-Click Connection, and AXIS Camera Application Platform support for installing third-party edge applications. What is a supervised input and why does it matter?A supervised input monitors the resistance of the alarm loop between 0 and 12 V across four states. That lets the module report a cut or shorted cable as a fault rather than silently failing, which is essential for security-grade alarm and door contact wiring. How is the A9188 powered?Either by Power over Ethernet — IEEE 802.3af Type 1 Class 3 or IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4 (PoE+) — or from an 8–28 V DC supply drawing up to 26 W. Can it power connected devices?Yes. It provides both 12 V DC and 24 V DC outputs. The maximum power out is shared between the two rails: 3.6 W on PoE Class 3, or 12 W on PoE Class 4 or DC input. What can the relays switch? Each of the eight Form C relays is rated to a maximum of 1 A at 48 V DC. In outdoor installations using the AXIS T98A15-VE cabinet the maximum allowed voltage is 30 V DC. Does it work with the AXIS A1001 Door Controller?Yes — the A9188 is designed for a high level of integration with the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller, and is commonly used for elevator floor management. It also works with AXIS Camera Station, AXIS Video Hosting System and third-party partner software. Can I integrate it with my own software?Yes. Axis publishes an open API including VAPIX, and the module supports the AXIS Camera Application Platform so third-party edge applications can be installed directly on the device. Can the A9188 be installed outdoors? Not on its own. The module is rated for -30 °C to 55 °C, but outdoor installation requires the AXIS T98A15-VE Surveillance Cabinet, which also caps the maximum relay voltage at 30 V DC. What is in the box?The A9188 ships with a connector kit, a jumper kit, a TORX TR20 key and an installation guide. Optional extras include the AXIS T8133 Midspan 30 W, AXIS T8129 PoE Extender and AXIS T8007 PS24 power supply. 5-Year AU Warranty Fast AU-Wide Shipping AU Tech Support

NDAA Compliant • Vandal-Resistant IP Intercom2N IP Force 01337-001 — 1-Button SIP Door Station with HD Camera, Australian Stock The 2N IP Force is built for the doors nobody else survives. Its cast aluminium body carries an IP69K and IK10 rating, so it shrugs off high-pressure wash-down, driving rain, dust and deliberate attack — which is why it turns up on car parks, prisons, industrial sites, loading docks and transport hubs across Australia. This variant (part number 01337-001) pairs a single backlit call button with the wide-angle HD camera and night vision, so you always see who is at the door. Audio is handled by two microphones and a 10 W speaker that stays intelligible next to traffic and machinery, and the whole unit runs on a single PoE 802.3af cable with standard SIP 2.0 for easy integration into any IP phone system, VMS or access control platform. CAMERA HD 1280 x 960 DURABILITY IP69K • IK10 POWER PoE 802.3af AUDIO 10 W Speaker Introduction of 2N IP Force — The Most Durable IP Intercom Why Installers Choose the 2N IP Force Most door stations are chosen on looks. The IP Force is chosen because the site is hostile. Cast aluminium, security screws, an optional tamper switch and a temperature range that spans -40 °C to +60 °C mean it keeps working through Australian summers, coastal salt and freezer rooms alike — and it does it while streaming ONVIF video into your existing surveillance system. Built for Punishment Robust aluminium casting rated IP69K for high-pressure, high-temperature wash-down and IK10 against impact. Fit it where a plastic intercom would last a week. Wide-Angle HD Camera with Night Vision 1280 x 960 HD sensor with a 124° horizontal by 90° vertical field of view and integrated infrared illumination, so faces are captured day or night, close to the panel or standing back. Heard Over the Noise Two built-in microphones and a 10 W speaker deliver 94 dB at one metre, with full-duplex echo cancellation and adaptive volume control for loud, open environments. Open Standards, No Lock-In SIP 2.0 signalling, ONVIF Profile S video, 802.1x, HTTPS and RTSP mean the IP Force drops into third-party PBX, VMS and access control systems without proprietary middleware. This variant is the 1-button model with the HD camera fitted. 2N also builds the IP Force with 2 or 4 buttons, and with an optional numeric keypad, if you need more destinations. Can I power it over a single network cable?Yes. The IP Force accepts IEEE 802.3af PoE (Class 0, up to 12.95 W), so one Cat-5e or better run carries both data and power. A 12 V DC / 2 A supply is the alternative if you have no PoE switch. Will it work with my existing phone system? It speaks standard SIP 2.0 (RFC 3261), so it registers to virtually any IP PBX, hosted SIP service or 2N answering unit. It can also run peer-to-peer without a server for simple door-to-handset setups. Can it release the door strike or gate?Yes. There is a passive relay output with NC/NO contacts rated to 30 V, plus an active switch output supplying 9 to 13 V DC at up to 700 mA for a lock or gate controller. How tough is it really? The casting is rated IP69K — the highest ingress protection tier, covering high-pressure hot-water wash-down — and IK10 for impact. Security screws and an optional tamper switch are available for exposed installations. Can I view the camera in my VMS?Yes. The IP Force supports ONVIF and RTSP streaming with H.264 and MJPEG, so the door camera can be recorded and viewed alongside your other cameras. Does it see in the dark?Yes. Integrated infrared illumination provides night vision, and the 124° horizontal field of view captures visitors even when they stand off to the side of the panel. Does this model include an RFID card reader? No. 01337-001 is the 1-button HD camera model. If you need card or fob entry, choose one of the “card reader ready” IP Force variants and add the matching reader module. Can it call a mobile phone?Yes. With the 2N Mobile Video cloud service the IP Force can place video calls to smartphones and tablets, so the door can be answered from anywhere.
