Explore D-Link networking and security equipment at CCTV Guru. Browse the available products below and use our buying guide to choose the right hardware for your network or camera system.
Start with the job you need to do: connect more wired devices, supply PoE power, extend Wi-Fi coverage or build a camera recording system. Features vary by model, so check the individual product’s specifications, included items and warranty before buying.
D-Link buying guide: choose the right equipment
Ethernet switches: data speed and PoE are different
A switch adds wired network connections. Multi-gigabit models can support faster local transfers when the connected devices and cabling support the same speed. They do not increase your internet plan’s speed. A port used to connect to your router also uses one of the switch’s available ports.
PoE is model-specific. A non-PoE switch carries data but cannot power a camera or access point. If you need PoE, check the required standard, the power available per port and the switch’s total power budget. For example, the DMS-105 and DMS-108 are data-only switches.
Wi-Fi access points: extend an existing network
An access point provides Wi-Fi for an existing network. Check its Ethernet uplink, supported power method, mounting requirements and management options. It does not replace your internet service. Advertised wireless link rates are theoretical; actual performance depends on your devices, network design and surroundings.
Cameras and CCTV kits: plan the complete system
Compare camera resolution, lens coverage, night lighting, recorder compatibility and storage needs. An NVR kit’s channel count is the number of cameras its recorder supports, not necessarily the number supplied. Check the exact camera quantity, included hard drive and any required cabling or installation accessories.
See our dedicated D-Link CCTV kits collection for published recorder-and-camera bundles. A DIY Wi-Fi camera-and-sensor kit is a different type of system.
Frequently asked questions
Do all D-Link switches provide PoE?
No. Choose a model explicitly rated for the PoE standard and power budget your devices require.
Will a 2.5GbE switch make every device faster?
No. Each link is limited by the capabilities of its connected device and cabling. Internet performance also depends on your router and service plan.
Are Ethernet cables and power equipment included?
Package contents vary. Check the individual listing for supplied adapters, mounting hardware and separately required cables, injectors or other equipment.
Does every D-Link product have the same warranty?
No. Warranty terms differ by model and product category. Refer to the exact listing and linked Australian manufacturer terms.
