VORTEX Cloud Licence
VIVOTEK VORTEX Cloud Storage Licence — 1-Year Per Camera, 30–180 Day Retention
VORTEX Cloud Backup Add-On — 12-Month Per-Camera Subscription
The VIVOTEK VORTEX Cloud Storage Licence is a 12-month, per-camera add-on that securely backs up your VORTEX camera recordings to the VORTEX cloud, giving you off-site redundancy and instant remote access for event review. Choose the retention window that suits your site — 30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 days of rolling cloud storage — and the platform automatically recycles the oldest footage once the window is reached. Each licence covers one VORTEX camera for one year and works alongside on-camera microSD recording for a resilient hybrid setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does this licence do?
It adds secure cloud backup for one VORTEX camera, continuously copying recordings to the VORTEX cloud for off-site redundancy and remote review.
What does the retention period mean?
It sets how many days of footage the cloud keeps — 30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 days. Once full, the cloud recycles the oldest day first, keeping a rolling window of recent recordings.
How many cameras does one licence cover?
One. VORTEX cloud storage is licensed per camera, so buy one licence for each VORTEX camera you want backed up.
What do I need to use it?
A compatible VORTEX camera connected to an active VORTEX organisation. The licence is digital and activated to your VORTEX account — no hardware ships.
