Dual-Camera Doorstep View
A 5MP main camera (1920 × 2560) covers visitors with a wide 180° diagonal field of view, while a dedicated 8MP package camera looks down to monitor deliveries left at the door — nothing on the doorstep goes unseen.
AI Detection & Face Recognition
On-device intelligence delivers people, vehicle and animal smart detections plus face recognition, cutting nuisance alerts so you only get notified about what matters at the front door.
UniFi Access Reader Built In
More than a doorbell — it doubles as an entry reader supporting NFC cards & keyfobs, Apple/Google Wallet credentials and mobile unlock for secure, keyless door entry inside a UniFi Access deployment.
Enhanced Two-Way Intercom
Talk to visitors in real time with enhanced two-way audio. Doorbell calls and intercom video route to compatible UniFi apps and receiver devices for live screening and remote unlock.
Weatherproof & Tamper-Resistant
An aluminium enclosure rated to IP55 handles rain and dust, while IK07 impact resistance and a wide −30°C to 50°C operating range keep it reliable through tough Australian conditions.
Single-Cable PoE+ Installation
One Ethernet cable carries power and data over PoE+ (max 16 W) through a GbE RJ45 port — cleaner and more reliable than a Wi-Fi doorbell, with no separate power run required.
UniFi Protect & Access — No Subscription
Live view, recordings, AI alerts and access management run locally through UniFi Protect and UniFi Access — full local control with no monthly cloud fees.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence and security-sensitive installations where supply-chain integrity is a requirement.
UniFi G6 Entry (UVC-G6-Entry)
The PoE+ smart doorbell, AI intercom and UniFi Access reader unit.
Mounting Hardware
Wall mount, gangbox mount plate and 20° wedge mount included; junction-box adapter optional.
Documentation
Quick-start guide and installation instructions.
Not Included
A PoE+ switch/injector, network cable and a UniFi Protect/Access host are required and sold separately.
Does the G6 Entry require a subscription?
No. UniFi Protect and UniFi Access run locally on a UniFi host. There are no monthly fees or cloud subscriptions required for standard use.
What do I need to run the G6 Entry?
A UniFi Protect host for video plus a UniFi Access environment for door entry, a PoE+ switch or injector to power it, and a network cable. Full access control may also need an Access Hub and compatible lock hardware.
What is the package camera for?
The dedicated 8MP package camera angles down toward the doorstep so you can monitor parcels and deliveries placed near the entry — separate from the 5MP visitor view.
Can it unlock a door without a key?
Yes. Within UniFi Access it supports NFC cards and keyfobs, Apple/Google Wallet credentials and mobile unlock for secure keyless entry.
Can it be powered over Ethernet?
Yes. The G6 Entry uses PoE+ (max 16 W) over a single GbE RJ45 cable, carrying both power and data for a clean, reliable install.
Is the G6 Entry NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the G6 Entry is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
