Purpose-Built Gate Control
Controls 1 gate plus 1 side door from a single hub. Two operator relays and an auxiliary relay (each 30 V DC, up to 1 A) drive your gate motor and accessories directly, with a powered side-door lock output (12 V DC, up to 1 A).
PoE++ Powered, Powers Others
A single PoE++ input (50 V DC, 1 A) powers the hub, and four PoE+ output ports (30 W per port, 55 W aggregated) feed readers, intercoms, and other UniFi Access devices downstream — no extra power runs.
Five Gigabit Ports On Board
An integrated (5) 10/100/1000 Base-T switch — one PoE++ uplink and four PoE+ downlinks — connects your readers and intercom locally for clean, single-cable wiring at the gate.
Complete Input & Safety Wiring
Dedicated digital inputs for gate exit request, gate position, side-door exit request, side-door position, and emergency let you wire request-to-exit, position sensors, and emergency release the right way.

Does the Gate Hub require an ongoing licence or subscription?
No. UniFi Access runs locally and is managed via the UniFi Access app and web console — there are no monthly fees or licence costs.
How is the Gate Hub powered?
Via a single PoE++ input (50 V DC, 1 A). It also provides four PoE+ output ports (30 W per port, 55 W aggregated) to power readers and intercoms downstream.
How many doors and users does it support?
One gate plus one side door, and up to 6,000 users when paired with UniFi Access Readers.
Can it be installed outdoors at the gate?
The device itself is indoor-rated and DIN-rail mounted. For outdoor installation, house it inside a waterproof junction box or enclosure.
What authentication methods are supported?
With UniFi Access Readers, the hub supports NFC cards and fobs, BLE mobile access, and PIN entry — all managed centrally.
Is the UA-Hub-Gate NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the UA-Hub-Gate is NDAA Section 889 compliant and UL 294 listed — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
