Does the 3-Pack require a UniFi Protect subscription?
No. UniFi Protect runs locally on a UniFi NVR or Dream Machine. There are no monthly fees or cloud subscriptions required.
Do all three cameras connect to the same NVR?
Yes. All three G5 Bullet cameras adopt into a single UniFi Protect host (UNVR, Cloud Key Gen2 Plus, or a Dream Machine Pro/SE/Wall) and are managed together in one app.
What do I need to power the cameras?
One PoE port per camera. A PoE switch with at least three PoE ports — or three individual PoE injectors — powers the full 3-Pack at just 4 W per camera.
Can the cameras be used outdoors in Australia?
The G5 Bullet is rated IP55 with IK04 impact resistance and a −20°C to 40°C range — suited to indoor and sheltered outdoor positions such as under eaves and covered car parks rather than fully exposed locations.
